Those Pop Ups are pretty cool looking. Be cool if they brought them back for the new nick turtles.

Epic and unexpected find, Bill!

Any chance you could find a good picture of the corresponding text with each figure?

I'd like to know how Shredder got into the Turtles' lair and what April might be doing to interfere with Rocksteady's plans!

EDIT: I guess you found most of them on ebay. Quick, let's hope some Drome forum member buys them for Christmas and shares pictures!

Yeah, man, I was just thinking how long this thread has taken to answer the OP. Thanks for getting this started; I would have never even known such things existed if you hadn't brought up the subject.

Epic!

They should bring back the pop ups for the new Nick line.

These look really cool! I find it ironic that the Leatherhead figure came with a Mikey pop-up.

Why is it ironic?

I was referring to the Nick series, but it also applies to 4Kids. Both Leatherhead premiere episodes from those series put Mikey and Leatherhead in a situation together.

Ah, I see. Ironic in retrospect, then.

Pop Up Display

I know this is from a while ago, but does anyone know what these go for - just the Pop up display with no figure?

I second this

This is the first time seeing these stand ups. I have always heard about them.

I recently picked up a couple of the pop up displays from a fellow Dromer.

I don't think these have been scanned yet, so here they are for your enjoyment:

EDIT for #13 Rocksteady pop-up display with April O'Neil:

I really have to admire Playmates' production values from back in the day. I never had any of these as a kid, but they are impressive pack-ins for a typical action figure.

Check out this 1989 tmnt toy commercial at 0:20 you have 10 of the 17 figures that came with the pop-up, each one with his own display shown.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdJqC...eature=related

Anyone knows with which character come Shredder and Rocksteady with pop-up display?
That commercial you posted is actually from the year 1990. 1990 appears at the bottom of the title screen if you look hard enough.
