He's a little too airbrushed for my tastes. Not scary enough either. The live action jungle book had tons of scary looking animals and they should've went that route with this movie.

Did you just want another excuse to shove what you're currently fapping to or what?

Mellow out, dude. It was meant as a sarcastic jab at CyberCubed. You'd think the guy would be more familiar with the Harry Potter franchise, especially considering what a f*kin know-it-all he claims to be.

The first official photo is on the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly. March 2017 can't come any sooner!

Looks good to me. BTW, I already saw this posted on Facebook and people are already making jokes about this being fairy-tale based on Stockholm Syndrome.

Her hair's kinda flat which is a bit disappointing for me. I blame her stylist. Her hair in Harry Potter as Hermione Granger is a lot better imo.

But other than that, it looks promising.

Aw man, no image of Chip? I hope he didn't get written out of the movie. Then again maybe they're saving him for a surprise. Also, Mrs. Potts looks awfully small compared to Cogsworth and Lumiere.

I'm sure they won't cut him since he is beloved character.

Watson and one of the set designers have revealed a new backstory for Belle.

Quote:
“In the animated movie, it’s her father who is the inventor, and we actually co-opted that for Belle,” says Watson. “I was like, ‘Well, there was never very much information or detail at the beginning of the story as to why Belle didn’t fit in, other than she liked books. Also what is she doing with her time?’ So, we created a backstory for her, which was that she had invented a kind of washing machine, so that, instead of doing laundry, she could sit and use that time to read instead. So, yeah, we made Belle an inventor.”

The music boxes also play a role in adding dimension to Watson’s character.

“Kevin Kline as Maurice, is making all these music boxes that have to tell the story of Belle not traveling,” says the film’s set decorator, Katie Spencer. “She’s overprotected in a way, by her father, because she’s lost her mother. So, we’ve made all these music boxes that represent different countries of the world, so she can see what she’s missing.”

I like that little backstory. It always did make me wonder why the town thought she was weird just because she read books.

Here is Ewan McGregor talking about the long process of getting his accent right while playing the role of Lumiere.

Belle will be very proactive in this film according to Watson.

Ian McKellen also tried to get a song for Cogworth in the movie.

Is it sexist or misogynistic if I don't think Emma Watson is classically "beautiful" enough to play Belle?

Not at all, I actually agree. 'Belle' literally means beauty, and her whole schtick to the town is that she's the most beautiful girl there.

I recently showed you photos of me with 3 different cute cosplay girls I briefly met during that weekend in San Diego Comic Con back in 2015 and you considered them all "ugly white chicks", plus I remember you making some derogatory comments of a dear friend of mine from college who I feel strongly resembles Julia Roberts circa 1990, so while I don't consider your opinion at all sexist, I'm certainly going to take your opinion with a grain of salt.
