PDP Ninja Turtle Pixel Pals

Performance Designed Products are making Pixel Pals of some licensed Ninja Turtle characters. They are collectible 8-bit figures that light up with 2 AAA batteries. Pretty cool.

Leonardo, Raphael, Shredder, and Food Soldier are available for pre-order at the PDP site or on Amazon. They get released on November 14, 2017.

Those are really cool but why no Michelangelo or Donatello? I hope they have an option to plug into an outlet. I've seen others (Nintendo) that are only lit with batteries that looked interesting but I had to pass on because they can't be plugged in.

There actually are at least two different Mega Mans out already. I have a couple of the Mario ones but personally I don't see the appeal of designs not based on the actual pixel art from the games. Had these Turtles been based on the arcade game or even NES game art I'd be all over them.

They are coming out with usb adapters but they're going for $8 a pop I think. Quite expensive

All these companies producing random merchandise reminds me of all the various things pushed out into market back in the 90s.
