I bought Vaughn's hardcover last Christmas and love it too, it was the first thing I had with Kevin's sig, now my four 25ths do too (not that his sig is scarce, but I had everyone else's several times).

Does anybody know how many of each cover sold at CC? I wonder how many of each they currently still have in stock. I'd wager still in the high 200's, at least. What I'm thinking though is that once these bad boys sell out, the prices will sky rocket.
Purchased my Bode cover. I can only afford one, and it was between Bode & Corben. Couldn't resist on Bode. The Turtles and Lee make a perfect combo. Goodbye, $26. |

I ended up being given the Fabry cover as a gift, so I could have afforded to buy at least one other cover if I had wanted to, but I really didn't end up wanting to.

Shazam!
http://www.mediafire.com/?dvuut6h64ytl8dl Click the link for the really big version plus a couple other images: one from the credits page (same Leonardo drawing as on the cover but his shell isn't obscured by the book spine) and an inked sketch that Veitch did in the interior cover. The scans were all 600dpi, but for some reason the cover (which I scanned in many parts) keeps saving at 300dpi. Not sure what's the problem... Something happening when I flatten the image/merge the layers? If I can figure out how to get the image to save at the 600dpi res I scanned at, I'll upload again.

I've been shazam-wowed!
And I do love devolved Raphael on Michelangelo's shoulder.

I really hate those dino-Turtles. Sorry guys. They just look too...non-Turtle and ugly to me.
I'm a little worried that my book's going to come bent or worn a bit due to what some members have said - those of you with damages that shouldn't be there, how bad are they? |

I think I was the first to mention damage to a received copy: in-transit damage is the likely culprit, the package would need to fall and land on a corner with significant impact to damage the spine like mine was. So there's a chance other copies will have rough journeys, but I'd wait till you've opened yours before worrying your OCD.

That Raphael in Coolidge Park picture I scanned before, Eastman posted the image on his DA page.
http://kevineastman.deviantart.com/a...Park-251632012 According to that, Eastman painted 95% of it but then Biz stopped by to do some of his own touches.

Holy wow, that cover is pretty damn cool! Thanks for sharing...
EDIT: Just got my copy in the post. Came in a pretty sturdy package, so no damage to the book in transit. There is however a slight, barely noticable line going down the front cover. At first I thought it was a crease, but you can't see anything on the inside. Looks to me like someone had opened a box with a packaging knife, and this book was on top, getting very slighty marked in the process. Oh well, you can hardly notice it anyway! Having a quick flick through, there's some wee differences between this and the other book. Contents page is a bit brighter, the red print is easier to read (also has a credit for G. Fabry for the cover.) As Abnormal Freak said, the colours in some of the stories are a bit darker than before. The first book's introduction/editorial thingy is in italics, the new one isn't. There's a gallery, and it is niiiice. Contents of gallery, for those who haven't yet bought this book but are thinking about it: Spoiler:
The back cover is same image as the first book's back cover, but takes up the whole area instead of being in a border (so no: "Are you ninja?" , "No, Turtle" quote.) Looks neat seeing it bigger, but it cuts some of the image off around the edges, and is printed a bit darker too.

My Fabry cover came today! Not a scratch on it although there was minimal packaging. Without a doubt one of the coolest tmnt items I now own!!
