The youtube comments are more positive than I expected. There are some people there who don't like it, but surprisingly enough a lot of people in the youtube trailer comment section seem to like it or open to giving it a chance.

And the opposite is true for Facebook. You would normally expect it to be the other way around but this is genuinely surprising.

It's not a good trailer so I can't comment much on what I think . I see potential but the trailer didn't excite me as it feels really generic and full of misses.

Donatello/April's scene was lame as was Leonardo's first line in the trailer.

I don't like the idea of the turtles not being ninjas yet but I guess it's something we've never really seen so it could work.

I wondered if twitter had blocked those in the backlash from the design

but mostly humorously, I don't really think they did, I think the initial reaction of the design release has passed.

I paused a few scenes to get a better look.

I actually really find myself liking the coloring. It’s soothing to my eyes and done well in my opinion.

Besides the animation being choppier than I expected I really have no complaints. The show has a really nice aesthetic and I was a fan of the humor from what was shown. It definitely delivered on the action too. The remix of the original Turtles theme was also good as hell I can't wait to hear the full version.

Really looking forward to this.

Agree the animation could be smoother. Hopefully it's just rough because they had to hurry up and whip up a trailer.

Oh lord Leo, those lines... This is basically a reboot of a PD 2014 issue after they replaced his voice with Knoxville and I just wanted to put my hand over Leo's mouth. "Shhh... lets not talk. Just try to look pretty, to the extent that it's even possible." Though this time it's more the lines than voice (but not crazy about that either.)

For all the worry that PD could have too much of a lasting impact on the franchise, this may be more of a threat to it imo, esp if Nick has ownership for a longtime to come and clings to this and their not clever changes. (At least the PD Turtles were mostly their normal selves in personally...)

Gah, was trying to think what that "one liner" line was making me think of... Is he trying to be Flynn Rider? *sigh* Now, I love Flynn, fave Disney character and all, but Leo is my fave of any character anywhere... Flynn is just a runner up in comparison, with a bit of distance... he is not Flynn and I don't want him to be. >.>

Rumored? I think a mention in an official press release is more than just a rumor. And that's not even something that was "revealed" later... that release is how the name was known.
