Accessories for NECA 1/4 Turtles; Share Your Ideas and Photos!
I am obsessed with NECA's quarter-scale Donatello! I've photographed it several times, and yet my eyes are still drawn to it whenever I walk by it, even after having had him for weeks.
I keep daydreaming about potential accessories and such for him, so I thought I'd create a thread for people to share their custom accessories and accessory ideas and random things they've scored or found. I've got a few to start things off, but my hope is that you'll all share your own ideas and photos! First off, this Build-a-Bear skateboard is roughly to scale: And if you can find the right engine or fan pieces, you can slap together a lazy kitbash of a movie-style Cheapskate: This is hardly a revelation, but you can add slime to the mutagen canister: (I used "Fart Putty", for whatever that's worth) Accessories from NECA's quarter-scale Gandalf make for a hasty, half-assed nod to Nick Don's LARP wizard look: I created a Turtle Comm out of shells from a pair of 2003 Turtles surrounding a quarter-scale Darth Maul binocular accessory: Finally (for now), I scored a desktop pool table at a thrift shop tonight: It's called the Totes Tabletop Pool Table. There are a few available on eBay at the moment; the cheapest is $26 shipped. Please share your pictures and ideas! |

Here's something I've yet to buy but which I've repeatedly admired from afar:
Target has a bunch of product from this "Our Generation" series. I brought one of NECA Don's extra hands to the store and held it up to the packages, and it looks like things like that cooler would scale nicely. Unfortunately this accessory pack is nearly $20, which is more than I care to spend. They also have a moped that I think would work! |

I bought a McGruff puppet for its coat, but it turned out to be too big. I'm thinking of asking my wife's tailor what she'll charge me to fix it.
Meanwhile, I saw some amazing teaser pics of custom coats, but I can't remember whether it was here or at the Sideshow forum. |

Thanks! One of those things I never knew I couldn't live without.
Meanwhile, I think I might have overestimated the public interest in a thread of this kind, ha ha ha. |

Our Generation and/or American Girl have an inflatable inner tube that could serve as a base for a custom "Sewer Party Tube":
McFarlane Creech hands for random high-tech gloves: Foam swimming noodles could be useful as a starting point for a punching bag: A better sense of the scale for those Our Gen accessories: Our Gen Ice Cream Truck: (Target has this for $109; lord help me, I'm tempted) There's also a kitchen, but it would require a hefty makeover: Finally, assorted thrift shop foolishness: |

Google "Pizza Sai Playset" and it should come up.
The handle on the sai is too big for any action figure that I know of, but the handle on the shield is 1:6 to 1:4 scale.

I am waiting for the decal for the shield to come from www.myteefinestuff.com
Are you interested in this?

Tentatively, but I'll have to add it to the massive list of things I'm interested in, added to which I'd probably pay someone to paint it.

If you want it painted in the style of the original accessory on which it was based, I can do that.

But if it's a rare piece, it's probably more than I'd want to pay at the moment; I've got to save up for Revoltech and Figuarts Turtles, plus a stupid ice cream truck. |

Make me an offer on it if you want. Otherwise, it is going up on eBay as soon as I get the decal from www.myteefinestuff.com.
