Golden Girls wasn't as big of a risk, or weird, as some people think. Sales of Funko products indicate there is a huge market segment that is highly nostalgic for the sitcom. I'm one of them. You should see the prices that an SDCC set of 4 ReAction Golden Girls goes for on eBay. NECA cashed in on people that were pressing their noses against the glass on that one.

Coming out of their Shells turtles would sell like hotcakes to the true TMNT collecting community, many of which probably don't even come and waste their time talking on this forum.

So would April, hopefully NECA figures that out.
Yes, it's hard to gauge. I'm someone who has bought only a handful of figures in the last decade - Neca TMNT movie figures and a couple Mezco "Dark Knight" figures.

But I'd be all over the "Coming out of their Shells" figures. It's just goofy and niche enough to appeal to me. I mean, sure, I feel stronger about the Fred Wolf turtles, but the more "off the wall' type of figures appeal to me more.

So the Turtles in Time figures have been confirmed to be sold individually at specialty retailers in assortments rather than being convention exclusives! TiT Super Shredder was also confirmed!

SOOOOOOOOO happy that I might be able to get that Slash easily, as it's my ideal classic Slash design.

I feel a little guilty for nitpicking, but the Arcade NECA Turtles were clearly drawing inspiration from the look of the original arcade game, and they really don't fit the Turtles in Time graphics style.

Definitely agree to this. I’d actually rather have flat, 16 bit faithful re-creations.

I’m tired and I have to wake up for work in a few hours for my overnight shift. Anyone want to start an official SDCC thread for all the pictures to come?

Sounds like Casey Jones is a certainty and Metalhead a possible reveal.

I hope that Slash gets a normal paint job release. I think the pixel paint versions are clever and even pretty well executed but I really do not like the look.

I *think* the show opens for the press around 6PM Cali time, so not too long after.

Pretty sure this means I will be able to order the assortments! FINALLY I can carry these awesome NECA figures in the store! I will order the crap out of this stuff if they send out solicitations.

I have the old Arcade release, but I like the sewer boards they show with these. I wish they would sell them independently, but I would assume that's not going to happen.

Other then that I am assuming they are the same Turtle/Foot figures as what was previously released? It is nice for those who do not have them.

Do you mean to say they are being re-released at GS?
