Just read this flick now has 6 total screenwriters, including Watts himself. Not a good sign.

This actually gives me more confidence assuming the latter drafts aren't coming from Goldstein and Daly. The further they get from their input the better.

Good point. I'm not actually worried, but normally that many writers leads to turds.

Either Miles Morales or the black Ben Reilly from the Ultmate comics. I know he has voiced Miles in animation.

Then again, I could be excited about nothing and he's just playing Randy Robertson.

That's exactly what she looks like in the comics. I wish they'd gone with something similarly comic-accurate for the MCU.

Yeah, but if they want a complete lineup of Spiderman films ala Harry Potter (a brilliant idea, if I say so myself), they need actors and actresses who are going to be around for awhile and can grow up with Peter Parker.

You wanna avoid a Dumbledore recast if possible.

Indeed. Comic accurate as the Maguire films were to the comics, Aunt May given the age she looks, would have to have been quite a bit older than Peter's parents for it to be logically feasible. Sally Fields was at least a bit closer to the more realistic mark age wise.

Actually, I'm fine with this choice. Common consensus is that at the age she is, Aunt May should have died a long time ago anyway. Her death in Issue 400 of ASM during the Clone Saga is one of the best stories ever written, and then they undid it a couple of years later
