Technically NECA offers exactly ZERO end-customer support. They request for you to go through the original retailer you bought from for ANY AND ALL return issues. That's not usually them, although it is becoming more common now with SDCC stuff and more direct online sales.
Its not ripped at all- its like the sewing machine missed an inch of the coat lining and its in the same location on all the figures. I am definitely working this with NECA to see what can be done, but I might get the same response that Latin Kings got...

The other side of this is that I am a direct retailer that gets products straight from them and I told them most of my customers had this issue on my 20 turtles I sold. They are going to have to do something because they wont want 20 returns.

HA! I'm pretty sure listing items not in-hand is also an eBay TOS violation. It for sure used to be.

This is hilarious. There are better/easier ways to make a buck, dude.

Don't get greedy, NECA-- release a Raph accessory pack. You're leaving money on the table.

RESPONSE FROM NECA ABOUT TRENCHCOAT SEWING ISSUE:
---------------------------------------
Hello,
I’m sorry for the confusion, however this is actually a screen-accurate detail and is not actually an error. For reference, please see this video on youtube.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UA-YoX4aRoQ

Exact scenes where easily visible:
:25 to :26 (close up, showing a portion hanging below the hem)
2:13 to 2:30 (Torn lining in multiple shots hanging below Raphael’s knees)

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you
-----------------------------------

While I get their response, I think it looks terrible haha. Good enough though and my wife said she will repair it for me

Well, I'll be damned if they aren't right, although I might want a little more than a couple of film frames to know if that's really what was going on in those shots or if it was actually like a belt hanging down underneath or something...

If I were them I probably would have made the executive decision to forego that little detail and make nice new struttin' trench coats for all these Raphs...Let the collector rip them himself if desired, lulz.

My thoughts exactly...

It looks like hot garbage to me.

Their attention to detail is great, though I wouldn't quite say 100% considering they completely screwed up the length of Leo's katana.

To loosely paraphrase Meatloaf, 99 out of 100 ain't bad.

I'm still not double dipping. NECA, don't get greedy-- release a Raph accessory pack.

This literally takes fifteen minutes. My dad has sewn six of them so far.

What he said. Don't keep poor Raph in a plastic and cardboard prison. That's something The Foot Clan would do.

...and tmntman, what's the best way to contact you? Got a few non-sales related questions. I've tried PM and email.

Like a Shyamalan twist.
So all “repaired“ coats are more or less damaged now?

They will tell you that you have to return it.

I saved at least one undamaged box from a figure that didn't ship UPS from NECA. Easiest thing is to just switch the outer box out for a different one. If you're interested we can work something out.

there was never any mention of a newspaper accessory, but that would have been a nice one

They offered to let me return all of the ones I bought even though they ripped the trenchcoat on purpose

They showed him with one last year, it made me curious if they shipped with one as well.
