Thanks for the snapshots!
Some of that art looks like it came out of the RPG book. |

The Turtles were in Amazing Heroes Swimsuit Special #2.
The Turtles' guest appearances in the Savage Dragon were also collected in The Savage Dragon Archives vols. 1 & 2 (in black-and-white). There's a pinup of Leo in The 3-Minute Sketchbook from the Hero Initiative. The Turtles were in numerous issues of Comics Revue: http://www.comicvine.com/leonardo/29...evue/49-26632/ http://www.comicvine.com/teenage-mut...evue/49-26632/ http://www.comicvine.com/donatello/2...evue/49-26632/ http://www.comicvine.com/michaelange...evue/49-26632/ http://www.comicvine.com/raphael/29-...evue/49-26632/ Donatello guest-starred in the Darerat/Tadpole flip book by Mark Martin. There were two editions of Gen 13 ABC, a TPB with bonus quotations form comic creators (including Eastman) and a Jim Lee Tribute edition from Wizard that was stapled like an ordinary comic.

Thanks on the different Gen13 editions and the AH Swimsuit Special. The Comics Revue issues are already listed.

There was only one TMNT/Savage Dragon toy pack-in mini comic, but it had like seven or so varient covers for each of the different characters it came with (Don, Mikey, Raph, two versions of the Dragon, She-Dragon, and Barbaric IIRC).

There was also a pack-in mini comic that came with each figure in the "Warriors of the Forgotten Sewer" line, which was illustrated by Dan Berger.

Oh man, do you happen to know of a site with images of either of those? I seem to learn of more TMNT comics material every other day. I'd love a look at those Berger mini-comics!

Found!
http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=30017 -- Warriors of the Forgotten Sewer, Fan Club, and the 2K3 Foxbox minicomics are all in there, along with the some other snippets like the cereal comic covers. There's some crooked pages and such that my OCD wants to fix, but it's great to be able to experience these obscure bits. Anyone happen to know of an archive that has all the covers of the TMNT/Savage Dragon toy comic? Last edited by wilddiverse; 01-29-2011 at 08:05 PM. |

I don't think there's a TMNT-related appearance in FIRE SALE, just a one-page Kevin Eastman comic.
Just discovered that there are also Signed & Numbered Ashcan versions of Flaming Carrot #25,26,27: http://www.milehighcomics.com/cgi-bi...3992&snumber=1 Don't know if the content is any different but there are some small cover variations. That Ashcan #27 cover is way cooler IMO: vs.

Is this thread simply for officially sanctioned appearances? If not, I highly recommend this book to you guys. The TMNT make a short appearance in it, and copies are a dime a dozen on ebay...
I apologize if I've already posted about this in this thread or another one.

FYI The TMNT are on the cover, but I'm told Munden's Bar Annual #2 just reprints the Grimjack #26 story.

You mean I don't have that listed?
EDIT: Yep, it's listed! I thought so, I got that book last year. Cool cover. I'm trying to find the topic on here in the General Forums where a poster was trying to find a parody book that had a pin up in. Every book released was a number 1 so the person didn't want to have to buy them all just to find it. Rip Off Press was it? It was a "Savage Turtle" pinup (amalgamating Savage Dragon/TMNT); I remember doing a search and finding an SD parody issue and wondered if it were in there. Is that enough vague hints to point someone in the right direction?

I will post some pics when I get a chance if that is allowed (NOT the entire comic).

Yeah, please do. I'm *really* hesistant to include that, but dependant on the cameo, I'll add it; afterall, a comic is a comic, no matter how faux.

And I knew Munden's Bar Annual #2 was on the list, I guess I was just suggesting perhaps a note that it just reprints be tagged on... you know, for people like me who use your Checklist as a Shopping List. |

And hey, if *I* use my list as a shopping list, so can you buddy! Really though, my list is pretty much for the absolute comic completionist. I just didn't realize how many cameos the Turtles had made. Suppose at some point I'll have to add the Dennis the Menace panel from last year, too.

I'll post some pictures later today if I can find the comic easily.

Now "Ultimate Gnatrat" could be included on the checklist, but unless I've missed something there's no TMNT in the various Gnatrat one-shots apart from that one panel in Darerat/Tadpole. |
