Agents of SHIELD is an example of how the connection is a hindrance rather than an advantage. So many episodes in season 1 are just dedicated to tying in to whatever MCU film is out at the time.

I'd rather see Spidey go up against his more outlandish enemies; seems more appropriate for the films. Besides, Kingpin's character was finally done justice on Daredevil. I'd MUCH rather see the Spiderman movies do the same for characters like Osborn, Ock, Venom, and all those other rogues.

I dunno... I can't see Jessica or Luke in a costume. Daredevil suited up by the end of his first season, but Jessica and Luke only had their costumes as Easter eggs and winks to the knowing audience.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Luke is just gonna wear the yellow shirt since this is based off the modern incarnation of the character and not the 1970s incarnation.

I'd be okay with Luke, but Jessica's "Jewel" costume needs to be COMPLETELY rehauled. Ugh.

Misty Knight is a character from the Luke Cage Netflix show (as well as the comics)

Colleen Wing is a character from the Iron Fist Netflix show (as well as the comics)

Together they had their own detective agency (in the comics)

Yeah for real. I feel like once all the characters come together they don't really need to keep doing individual sequel seasons. Just give us Defenders season 2, a Daughters of the Dragon season, stuff like that. If the Defenders have to take a break, do Heroes for Hire
