Apparently Big Poppa Trump is getting arrested on Tuesday without bail. Not sure what the charge is but I heard it's some misdemeanor since they can't catch him on any larger crime.

Apparently the word online (other than mass celebration) is that is Trump gets indicted, it'll backfire horribly for the woke crowd and end up securing his 2025 win.

Is there updated news of it being true? All I'd heard was it was just something he was claiming and little else to back it up. Maybe it could be true, but knowing him there's probably also an equal chance that he's BSing to stir up supporters, at least those who buy right into it before/without evidence of it being true.

Goodness, he is nothing if not a drama queen for life.

That definitely reads the same way as how he was acting before the last election, afraid that he'll be on the losing end and is busy padding his ego and framing it up as being a victim if it really comes to pass. On top of stirring people up in hopes that they'll protest and run in and defend their king once again, just like the cannon fodder he believes them to be. If most anyone else kept doing that people would easily note it as very pathetic behavior.

I'm still somewhat skeptical that it will happen. I've seen no official word on this and it seems that it originated from Trump's own camp first his legal team claiming he would surrender (to avoid getting arrested) and then from Trump himself suggesting he would not surrender to the law and asking his supporters to protest but I have a feeling that this is all one big stunt. He gets his base all riled up, his ultra idiotic supporters show up to stop his arrest and when no one shows up he can claim it was because they were intimated by the MAGAs and claims a moral victory.

Still if he is ever going to be indicted for anything it was always going to be for something like this. It was never going to be for the multitude of major crimes it's already been proven he committed but rather something relatively minor that doesn't necessarily require prison time and doesn't leave too much taint on the office of president or rile up his supporters too much...good luck with that as he seems to be intent on weaponising his army of chuds (You'd think after the last time he asked his supporters to protest they tried to violently overthrow the government he'd be more careful).

If this is real I imagine the discrepancy on whether he will be arrested or will surrender willingly is his team working out which will play better with his base; to look the 'bigger' man by co-operating with the investigation or be escorted out which he hopes will make him look like a matyre. Much as I think the former is better all round I have to admit the mental image of Trump being dragged out of Mar-a-Lago KFC hanging from his jows and Guiliani being held back ranting that it's all a witch hunt is just too funny.

Unconfirmed. Like I said we even really know if he will be arrested this week. Allegedly it's to his payoff of Stormy Daniels with his campaign money which constitutes fraud.
