Absolutely! There are specific episodes that are the "gateway drug" to Doctor Who. If you just try an episode at random, the odds are against you becoming a fan. So you start with the most terrifying episodes possible, and if you like those, you're good to go. That's what my wife's sister did with us.

Problem is they are so nearsighted that by the time they SEE it, its too late due to vehicular speeds. Armadillos have the same problem. Its why we jokingly call them Texas speed bumps here.

I had to look up a video on how to beat the last colossus in Shadow of the Colossus because I could not for the life of me figure out the sequence of events to get him to bring his hand to his face or whatever.

Don't feel too bad. I watched my friend's ex-girlfriend die something like 30 times in a row on the little tiger colossus. She freaked out and was screaming about how the game was so broken and rage quit.

I swear every time I see them by like trash cans or just walking around at night I shiver a bit. Like I'm fine with rats, cats, birds, bugs, spiders, dogs, snakes and scorpions...But show me a possum and I'm done. I once went to another block to throw out the trash cuz I saw a couple of em in the one where I usually throw out my trash.

I used to confuse Powder with Prowler. I did not understand the inconsistency in posts.

This matches really well with Louise Belcher as your avatar . It seems like something she'd say.

I think I might actually recall that??? Been a while since I've seen the episode.
Got pretty close, though. Looking at the possum discussion from a while back...they're actually completely immune to rabies. They don't have the genes to carry it. As for me, I can't stand cockroaches in my house, especially big ones, as well as most other bugs that get into my house. But I'm perfectly fine with wolf spiders. Even the big ones. And whichever spiders carry their babies on their backs. I think they're neat. (Preying mantises are rad af, but I've never seen them in Texas.)

Yeah warm water running on my dick doesn't really turn me on. Plus think of all the water you're wasting and of your next water bill. Total boner killer.

I've said before that Coffee is nasty, but now I love Frappes and cappuccinos.

I kid you not, the first thing to unsettle me in my childhood was in The Simpsons. And it was the episode where Homer had a hair transplant from the executed Snake Jailbird and proceeded to go on a murder rampage. I think it was a Treehouse of Horror episode, but I'm not entirely sure.
I mean...sweet baby Jiminy H. Cricket. Of course it's all fine and silly now, but for a three/four year old? It didn't give me nightmares or scare me deeply, but it was certainly enough for my first big "nope nope nope nope!" Though, I think Moe's murder was the thing that scared me most of all. And I only just remembered it recently. I don't know how I ended up watching it, but I do remember seeing it for the first time. It's certainly not my "Rosebud", that's for sure, but it's up there in suppressed memories.

I enjoy older movies over most newer films... like Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeve...

I've been a dick to some people on here, and it finally hit me that it's been pretty immature on my part. Not much good when you're calling out someone else's behavior on another thread when you yourself are a dick or sometimes hypocritical. So I apologize to those people I've been a dick towards.
Pferria or however it's spelled, he won't see this to Thursday, but he was the latest on the list so I'll name drop him especially. If anyone else sees this, sincere apology for the dickishness and feel free to PM me if you feel compelled to discuss.

I like how you attempt to apologize to someone but refer to them as "Pferria or however it's spelled". Makes it seem insincere.
