hey if you wanna continue buying Playmates half assed crap of unpainted basic figures and tons of turtle variants and repaints of already released figures nobody asked for be my guest.

Hey im not saying they havent dropped the ball....a lot. But this whole place needs a case of expectation management.

Everyone here seems to want 80-90s era of toys, cheap toys with all the things. Those days are gone and its time to get over it. For one Playmates doesnt dictate everything like everyone here seems to think. Its all on retailers. They say "we want more Turtles those sell more than others characters". Why do you think Marvel figures are plagued with Spidermans Wolverines and Iron Mans??

Stuffs unpainted because thats what has to happen to have everything still sell for the price it does. And youd probably say "raise the cost to accommodate!" except threads like the SHF thread is full of people not willing to pay for quality.

Ok give it to NECA? You realize if its not Alien or Pretador wed get about 8 figures before they moved on to their next project? "What about Godzilla?" ok how many NOT Godzillas does NECA make? How many Gypsy Dangers were in the Pacific Rim line? Not to mention theyd be limited to TRU and Specialty Shops and half of the TRUs out there dont even stock half this stuff.

I realize not eveyone here gives two craps about how the toy business actually works. But it might be time to stop being so ignorantly hateful. This place has turned into an echo chamber of hate and its not fun to be here anymore

Only one I'm seeing that I may kind of need is open trench coat-wearing Indiana Jones-looking Leo. The rest... eh. Monster ones are kind of neat, esp like Donnie's, but may have to see those in person to decide.

So from this video, we've learned more about the TV show as well as the figures. So we have the first arc with Kavaxas which we knew about, and after that it's Usagi, although based off episode titles it's the Monsters part. The last one is the other 80s crossover. Nice to know.

Too bad the pet pack is dead, but at least Mega Bloks have a decent ICK to go with the Basic figures.

I love it that Monster Hunter Raph's coat is a duster and he is wearing a bowler.

The monster turtles look amazing, I can't believe they actually look like Ciro's art style. Major props to Playmates on that front. I want those. Samurai turtles are great but as Kappa said will surely suffer a loss paint-app wise... Usagi looks HELLA awkward. I'll still get him, but God damn. Oh, neat, a samurai one too. I like that one better. Happy to have two new figures of him regardless.

NECA's baby turtle is fantastic, I hope it's available for purchase independently 'cause I've not got any of the big Henson turtles & likely will not.

Loosing Usagi puts, from my marketing point of view, Playmates in shame because you can't show up on a event like this without one of the key element of your hype.
Like the samurais a lot, too bad so many paintjobs and details are gonna get 'lost in production'. We should all coin this term XD

Would have been funnier if he was taken off the display cause ToyGuru from Jakks came over and dropped Usagi on the floor.
