I bought these just a few months ago. I didn't think they would come as fast as they did or I would have ordered them earlier to decorate my desk when I was still at Bardel. Oh well my next gig I'll have them take you my workspace

I recently got the very last one I needed (Raphael), so in my excitement I decided to open all of them and finally put them in cool positions. In doing so, the base of my Leonardo had a faulty peg and snapped...more like peeled off into the pipe thing. It seriously bummed me out with Leo being my fave. I'm hopeful I can pull off just putting on some gorilla glue or something.

You can buy revoltech joints directly from them. This is common so they sell them. I cannot find the page that sells them from work though.

I'm ordering one today. I'm assuming the ones on Amazon are the legit versions.

Keep in mind there are 2 separate releases of these (with different packaging). Good luck! I hope to get legit figures and let us know how it works out.

There's the standard release and Kaiyodo's 10th Anniversary release.

All four Turtles made it on the top 10 list of figures to be released for the celebration.

These seem to have an over all good review on them. I'm thinking I might get these instead of the SH Figuarts though I'm not sure yet. I do love the look of the 2012 series though.

They are pretty awesome, but. They're less like action figures and more like super poseable statues, if that makes sense. You kinda have to know what pose you want them in and then work the figures into that pose instead of playing with them.

Honestly? If you can only get 1 set, get the Figuarts. I have both. I played with the Revoltech ones for a while because it was all we had, but then the TMNT avalanche started and we got much better options.

Go Figuarts and skip the Revoltech IMO.

i think both are great and must haves, each is great for their representation. The Revoltech ones are the best for the 2012 designs. The Figuarts are best for the 80s design IMO should get both

The Revo Turtles are 44% off at the moment on Hobby Link Japan, so down to around $25

Daaang that's a steal.

I got the original issues, in-package, for about $50 each at a 2nd hand hobby shop like literally a week before the re-issues were announced. I still considered it a good find.

Does anybody know if there's anything which distinguishes the 1st issues from the 2nd issues? I know about the bootleg differences but wondering if there's any way to tell the legit ones apart.

I wish I had the dough for a back-up set, at that price. Such rad figures.

I know the packaging is different between waves, but I don't think there are any tells on the figures themselves. At least not from what I've noticed in pictures. They're not marked with dates & stuff like Playmates figures, after all.
