Rip Emma Morano the 1800's is over. a bit late.
On April 15, Emma Morano passed away and at the time was the last living person born in the 1800's, being born on 29 November 1899.
She was also the oldest person at the time of her death at 117 years, 137 days, Jeanne Louise Calment holdes the record of all time as oldest person ever at 122 years, 164 days, when she passed in 1997. Cant believe that at long last, the last person born in the 1800's is gone. A entire century is finally gone. |

Man, even 117 year olds are dropping like flies these days. 2017 has no mercy.

Add another mark of my birthday not being a good day.
This is fascinating though, the oldest person I remember was Jiroemon Kimura, the man who lived the longest hailing from Japan. Regardless, my heart goes out to the Morano family.
