I used to love DB and DBZ, saw DB first. WHen watching DBZ I preferred it over the original but then I preferred DB over DBZ. This movie hasn't had me excited at all, I like the franchise but I don't love it. But they have been marketing this movie so much and it's going to get a Theater release here and many people say it has DB type humor so I feel like I have to watch it.

Who would have thought back in 2013 this movie would spawn the revival of the Dragonball franchise with an all new series for the first time in 18 years?

It's kind of funny that Beerus introduction to the franchise paved the way for everything that came after it. Literally every storyline in Super has dealt with Beerus or the other universes that spawned from it in some form. It's now hard to remember the time the Dragonball franchise existed prior to Beerus.

I agree though. This movie revived the franchise and gave us an amazing new series. Beers has become my favorite character in the entire universe. This new series gave us some pretty new memorable characters including Hitt and Black Goku.
