Terrible Things
It's clickbait, but it's also a better list than I expected:
http://www.looper.com/70568/terrible...tles-ever-done I appreciate the Mirage awareness, at least. I have a hard time blaming the franchise for the deeds of negligent pet owners though.

That was awesome. Everything on the list were Mirage/Image except for the last two items. Whatever gets Mirage more "clicks", I approve.

The last 2 are truly terrible
Although, the last bit states that RES are easy to care for is incorrect. Most pet Sliders died of neglect within the first year from their ignorant owners that was told that they didn't grow more then 2 inches and only needed a little water and a 10gal tank. |

Geezus, I haven't read it but even just that short breakdown of the Mikey/Klunk story is enough to threaten to choke you up. Esp if you've experienced being heartbroken over a tragic early loss of a pet in some way.
He kept the kitten, right? He better have... Some good 'terrible' Mirage stuff, but the 2014 Mikey/April thing wins for most truly legit terrible thing. Not even that he was into her, that's fine, but the way it was played out... ICK. (At least his brothers were also tired of it by the end, though they should have thumped him upside the head from the get-go.) |

It's one of the reasons why they're illegal to own in the first place. Hell, RES are illegal in MA because they're so invasive. People think they're adorable, and don't realize they can grow to be 2 feet long and live 30 - 50 years. My mom tells the story of having a turtle as a kid, and being told to paint it's shell with milk to keep it strong.

Alright, let's go through them one by one...
They talked Shredder into committing suicide. And he did try, just not in the way they thought. Raphael tried to bash Michelangelo's head in. "Tried", he stopped himself. Casey Jones killed a teenager and went on a drunken rampage. Yes but that was Casey, not one of the Turtles. Everything that happens in Bodycount. I have not read it. Michelangelo almost sacrificed a stray cat in a black magic ritual. "Almost", he didn't. Leonardo joined the Foot Clan as Shredder's apprentice. Under mind control, put this one of Shredder and Kitsune. Michelangelo sexually harassed April O'Neil. Yes he did and somehow I'm more comfortable watching that movie than the sequel. They caused an ecological disaster. OK, that would have been funny if it wasn't true. Regardless, it's more the fault of dumb parents than the franchise. |

Raph didn't stop himself until after Leo physically restrained him.

The point is that he didn't bash in Mike's head.

Because something kept him from doing it though, and that something wasn't himself. If Leo hadn't stepped in...he'd have done it.
I'd consider that a terrible thing.

A mostly Mirage inspired article? Clickbait or not, I approve!
& I love that they call Bay-Mike's behavior exactly what it is. F**k that guy, or turtle, or whatever.

That movie would have been 100% better if one of his brothers had called him out on that crap during the movie and he'd apologized to April.

On a sidenote I was amazed when I clicked the link to those pizza topics. I've seen the AVGN video where he does it but here you can actually see photographs of each one. Some kind of look edible, others look awful. I wouldn't mind tring the chocolate chip pizza one. |

Fleetway published a public service announcement regarding irresponsible red-eared terrapin owners and illegal international trade:
