Haha! Me, I'm quite excited for these quality 1:6 ranges.
I am a fan of that scale. I have the Three Zero movie Turtles booked, and I know I can get their Eastman Turtles booked. I never did see the Mondo First Turtle in China at all. I wasn't phased, as I didn't want one, but these comic Turtles are something else. If all else fails, I'll go through Sideshow. If fact I might set up an account just now. |

The Eastman 1:6 turtles sound great, I may want those more than anything. But if they're made by Three Zero, they too will cost far too much for me.
I just wish there was a company doing Mirage based pieces at a price point similar to the Revoltech figures. Guess I'll just have to settle for The Loyal Subjects upcoming set.

The Three Zero are being described as having cloth clothing. So, I'm thinking that will be the pads and belts.
I understand the price point thing. The 1:6 scale figures have gone up big time. The First Gokin price point ( original, not inflated foreign price ) was nice. Under $100, and you get a great figure. These 1:6 Comic Turtles, by their nature need to be fairly basic. As such they shouldn't be costing in excess of $100 each. That say, even at that price, it won't be much less than $1000 for the two sets. |

Wow, all of this anticipation for SDCC already and then the news of the four Mirage inspired turtles on the show floor by Mondo and possibly Threezero Mirage turtles as well!!! I'm signed up and ready for this Comic Con for sure. If the Threezero ones do have cloth belts or pads, I'll probably be out on those. I just try and stay away from any figure/statue with cloth involved personally. And since they're Eastman inspired, I've already got the NECA one to make me happy already.
The Mondo ones though are sure looking great. I already like how different Leo and Donnie are from each other in those pictures. All of the news of accessories and unique-to-turtle bonuses like a Shredder gauntlet for Leo.... I'm really excited. The Utrom, and possible 1/6 Mirage Casey Jones, Shredder, and Foot Ninja if sales for the turtles are good makes me even more excited then I already was. The scale is great for these and I just can't wait to see all four brothers at SDCC!

Wait... you mean nobody's excited for this?
But seriously - nice work Mondo. I really hope they don't look too large next to my 1/6th collection, other than that, I'm drooling overhere. |

Yup, I think these upcoming 1:6 Turtles (all three sets; even if I haven't seen the third yet) are going to be the best figure (articulated) sets released in the history of the franchise.

Oh man that Utrom looks fantastic! I'm pretty torn on this now and may have to get a set of these.
That Utrom looks even more like the comics than the NECA one did. |

Seeing this on their FB page, makes me think the Eastman/threezero collab might also open up a Bisley/Eastman/threezero Collab.

Hmm... I'm VERY curious to see what ThreeZero's Kevin Eastman TMNT look like. I ultimately passed on their 2014 figures because I couldn't justify the cost for figures based on a movie I didn't really like and designs I wasn't fond of.
I really love what Mondo have shown so far but I'm also extremely nervous about the price given Mondo's history in that area. I'm also worried that I'll get sucked in with a "gotta get them all" mentality which at the expected price point is not something I could really afford. ThreeZero's pricing for the 2014 figures was very reasonable given modern 1/6 scale prices, especially when you factor in the discounts they offered on sets and the fact that shipping is included. They could be a nice alternative to just get the 4 TMNT. |

If they're going for something in a "standard Eastman" style, this has always been my favourite piece:
Dunno if it'd be too "samey" with the other Mirage-based figures, though?
