"Keep your fingers crossed" isn't exactly them not shooting down the possibility. More of an optimistic way of saying, "don't count on it".

It's not a bad idea. Social media IS a way to get something like this done. Nickelodeon's "The 90's Are All That" is considered to have come about largely due to demand from social media: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Splat

The problem is that even if a sizable number of people pushed for DVD releases, Nickelodeon will just say, "But we did release DVDs of this TV series, and no one bought them! In the vault they stay!"

Looks like they know people want DVD releases. It'll probably happen soon especially now that the Nick show is coming to a close.

Most of those releases were before Nicelodeon bought TMNT in October 2009.
It's for them to just make money on it.

I am patient when it comes to TMNT DVDs.

The first season of the original cartoon came out on DVD in 2004. It took them till 2012 to release Season 10. If I had to wait 8 years over the entire span of the 2k3 series for the entire Fred Wolf show to come to DVD, I can wait for this. I think some of you have forgotten how painful the wait for the OT DVDs to come out were.

I suspect we'll get a full boxset of all the 2k3 series at once, rather than individual season releases.

We still got at least some releases every year. Compare to this, two years and nothing has happened.

Why?? Boxsets are probably way more expensive to produce than individual discs - it'd be a huge, probably fruitless, risk.

Gotta hope that them making posts like this on their Twitter and Facebook are a way that they're looking to see how many people are reacting and show an interest in the 4Kids series.

This isn't 2005. You can now fit entire seasons on one disc.

You clearly have no idea how a DVD works.

DVDs can fit 13 or more half hour episodes. And these were early 2000 era DVDs. Many original cartoon DVDs have 13 episodes on them.

Oh, I thought you meant 26-episode seasons. Yeah, 13-episode discs are totally possible. My mistake.

Bluray discs must be able to fit even more episodes?

Individual season sets are far more likely. If they sell well enough, then a full series set.

Nick won't even release their own TMNT series on Blu-ray, so I highly doubt the 2K3 series will be.
