Marvel Comics has acquired the Alien and Predator franchises. The comics were previously published by Dark Horse. But now Marvel will get to publish there own comics on those two properties.

Surprising, but at the same time also a no brainer. Disney owns Fox now, after all. It was only ever a question of when whatever deal Dark Horse had with Fox would expire. And yeesh... what does Dark Horse even have left now?
And Finch is a Marvel guy now?

By the way, it's been confirmed that the comic based on the original Predator script has been canned due to this.
