My Michelangelo should arrive by Thursday too. And speaking of Trenchcoat Ralph, I wish we would also get a trash can accessory to dump him into.

Mikey arrived today, which completes the 4 brothers. So far, he seems the be the only one that didn't have the slightest of issues outside the box for me. I really hate rotating these legs forwards. Sounds like it is going to break every time. As go_ninja84 said, its a rewards program that pays out every three months. You get 1% for each purchase. I believe it used to be 2% some months ago. Some times, they'll have offers where you can get 6-10% back during a certain period of time. I had 8% activated when I made my purchase. Last edited by OPTICS; 08-28-2017 at 03:25 PM. |

Unrelated, but not entirely. Has anyone ever bought any of these from a website called Woozymoo? I never heard of them until today. Anyone have any feedback on them?

Optics,
Is Mike's torso smaller than the other three, or is your picture playing tricks with my eyes?

I thought the same thing when I got the figure. I think it is the sides of the shell. Don and Raph share the same sides. The same goes for Leo and Mikey. Also, the placement of the strap that goes around their body.

I haven't heard anything. I'm thinking maybe next week we should probably hear something... hopefully.

Thought I'd share some pics I have of my 1/4 TMNT. Broken Donnie is at the end if anyone is interested. I can't wait to do this again with Mikey, and all 4 Bros together.

So, I'm gonna go out and say it- I feel like the color used for Mike's mask is bit off. Too bright or something. I can't quite put my finger on it, but based on the pics I've seen so far, he's the only one I wouldn't mistake for a screen shot from the actual movie.

The second reason might be is that the factory in China forgot to add the subtle shading onto his mask, so he doesn't quite match his brothers. But that's not exactly difficult to fix. A single coat of black ink wash from your preferred brand of model paint should fix that right up. Just remember to dab up any excess paint wash before it dries and let it settle into the little folds and creases in his mask and it should look stellar. |

Getting super nitpicky here-- going from pics, I thought Mikey was definitely the least successful in terms of face sculpt. I really think they could've picked a better reference shot to sculpt from, but hey... WE HAVE SUPER ACCURATE HENSON FIGURES! I can't complain.
There was extensive testing during pre-produciton of the movie on how the suits reacted to lighting on film. They didn't fare that well in direct, bright light, and the NECA toys really aren't any different. Nitpicks aside-- 10/10 to NECA! Gold stars. GIVE US SHRED DUDE! |
