Final Fantasy VIII Remastered
So how many got this for PS4, Switch Xbox1 ete? I enjoying it, some parts of the game looks great upgraded, but the Achilles heel is the world map, you can really see the flaws in the pixels when its in HD. The ps1 graphics did a pretty good job in keeping the line "blocks" hidden, but when you move it to HD, nothing is no longer hidden lol. Though I do love Final Fantasy VIII, and I do dig the new models and town and garden upgrades, the map is sort of a eye sore perhaps. But I do recall it didn't look that great on the ps1 either, just now you can see the lines that connect the map lol. Still it does look great. Squall and team never look better.

I've seen that there's some controversy regarding these because the publisher is playing it safe with some costume changes....

Censored the game all you want, but leave "Eyes On Me" ALONE. You maniacs, you ruin a great song. They gone too far. This has to be some video game crime or something right?

Honest Question:
I love RPGs and Final Fantasy has served up some of my favorites. But I've heard nothing but bad things about VIII. Do you guys recommend it at all?

I installed it and played it a bit. Eh. It's OK, and it's a minimalist "remaster," but surely they could have freed up the 8 directional controls.
