You forgot the eyebrows.
... Seriously, I'm still trying to figure out why they had to give Donny eybrows. It's just distracting.. And that's saying a lot given aol the other design choices.

At first I'd tried to figure that the "eyebrows" were intended to actually just be a shadow, but the fact that it's so bold (though not unlike the shadow "shorts") and lacking on Raph who wears a similar mask...

Sooo... uh. How to make sense of it... Magic (or LCD screen fabric?) mask that aid's hairless, mask wearing people in facial expressions? That's all I got, take it or leave it. lol

These guys sound like they have no idea how cartoons work. Shows are usually renewed ahead of time because it takes 8 months to produce one ep from start to finish and need ahead of time if it goes on.

The show is very likely to have at least a 3-5 year run, Nick didn't have another show greenlit immediately just to cancel it unless it does truly bad which I don't think can happen because just by default millions of kids watch Nickelodeon.

I've heard some interesting comments in the BTS video.

Andy Suriano states the following:

"The blended, multicultural family unit(s) is/are a reflection of today's modern youth."

I wonder what he means by that ...

(The crew also states that Michelangelo [sort-of] resembles their version of Banksy, at least artistically.

*Kai is also an actor. He was in an episode of Stranger Things season 2.

I don't think this Raph is even hot-headed. This version just may be more a funny reactionary type than angry. He didn't get mad once in the teaser.

I think they said that after mentioning that the turtles were different species, not sure it it's that, unless they are going to reference the species a lot in the show kids will just see 4 turtles. The turtles have always had a rat father who isn't their blood father so that's nothing new.
Maybe April comes from a multicultural family or she lives with the turtles like family, but now I'm guessing. (that's for the spec thread)
