New York's Shiniest: West vs. East!
Spoiler:
tOkKa recently spent 15 valuable hours of his day scanning and uploading loads of pages from the TMNT manga series [issues 5 & 8]. I draw your attention to the Japanese take on the episode, "New York's Shiniest," which differs substantially from the TV episode Take the ending, for example: http://www.flickr.com/photos/terrible2z/3814784382/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/terrible2z/3814798382/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/terrible2z/3814814810/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/terrible2z/3814019679/ Even you can't read the language (and, hey, that's most of us!), you should notice that Rex's strategy for defeating those evil robot cops is quite a bit difference from the campy TV episode, as illustrated in this UK comic adaptation: http://www.flickr.com/photos/22047800@N07/3821834954/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/22047800@N07/3821834988/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/22047800@N07/3821835042/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/22047800@N07/3821835080/ Interesting! Make sure to check out all tOkKa's painstaking scans on his flickr stream! http://www.flickr.com/photos/terrible2z/page4/

I notice that even the comic kept the double Turtle Van mistake. LOL Even more noticeable this time since the scenes are a page apart.

Quote:
When April and Splinter are driving around looking for the Turtles and the evil robots, they are using the Channel Six news van (makes sense!) However, after the Turtles reappear, the Turtle Van is mysteriously present once again. As far as the episode itself, this is probably the second biggest plot hole of any episode.

Donatello promises to meet the others at the airport. The next scene shows all four turtles boarding an airplane to stop were-rat Irma & Vernon from stealing the "cheese crates." Eventually, all four turtles fall out of the plane, plummeting to their apparent doom. Until . . .
They land safely on the Turtle Blimp, piloted by none other than Donatello. Although Donatello has no speaking parts during this scene, he is seen almost constantly over the four minute span. It's not a coloring mistake, it's all four turtles that suddenly become 3 turtles.
