My thoughts exactly. He can't seem to grasp the simple fact that grown-ups (like Peter Laird, for one) often have more pressing concerns - financial or otherwse - than fretting about a fictional character that happens to be female. The man deserves all the praise in the world for the ball he got rolling, but he waived the right to have any meaningful say in the matter of female Turtles long ago. And there's nothing wrong with that. Life goes on, as it must.

That's also not how the meme works. The cat isn't supposed to not care about what the woman is saying, it's supposed to be confused.

From what Iíve seen, the cat is usually trolling/antagonizing the hysterical woman

Oh hey, a thread about the Jennika mini. And it's several pages long! I wonder if they're discussing the positives and negatives of that backup story. I thought it had some good concepts, but man was it hurt by the framing device of Splinter talking history while at the same time splitting action between a wordless recap of her backstory and a bit about her watching the turtles fight crime.

I'll just click on this thread...

A perfectly cromulent summation of events.

As I kid I never had too much of a problem with Scrappy Doo. I never understood the hate towards him.

Purple could have been cool.

Will. Not. Last.
Agreed. Like a lot of stuff it's just fashionable. Gender swapping I find is a lazy gimmick as well but that's going off topic.

That actually happens on both sides.

I think it's sad that there isn't hardly any good social justice today. The problem with social justice is that it's been nurtured by corporations interested only in making money, not an actual social difference.

Long ago original Lara Croft was an empowered female that males tended to beat to, thankfully Square Enix fixed all that by making rebooted Lara Croft a teenager who is a psychotic version of John Rambo.

Is that Kim and Kyle Richards?

I can't really point to many people who say it's a great movie. I mean The Force Awakens made a ton of money and that film was a travesty that ruined Star Wars creatively although not financially.

The most fair reviews I've read on the movie is that it's dull.

When you look at the sort of character John Rambo originally was, this either becomes incredibly ironic or incredibly sad.
