Quite respectable! I would think both TMNT sets would have to be top 5. The 90s weren't that great for playsets overall. A whole lot of Batman and Marvel variations. Real Ghotsbusters firehouse, Castle Greyskull and the G.I.Joe aircraft carrier would probably be the most famous 80s sets.

That Batcave/Wayne Manor set got reskinned and re-released SO many times. Sentinel seems like a strange inclusion just because he's got a chest compartment.

The 90's were better for it than the 2000's. At least had playsets, modern totlines rarely even have vehicles let alone playsets.

Have to agree with you here. The 80s and 90s were the golden years for figures and Playsets. I had many of the playsets back then and they trump anything that comes out today

Playsets were one of the greatest things to happen to toys. They made play time soooo much more fun, & even now they can really amplify a collector's display.

As a result, some of the more artistically inclined fans even build their own realistic sets for the the adult figures. Fun, and inspirational.

I still remember how insanely hype I got from the sewer, which I adore to this day. & the Mini-Mutant sets, wow! Really wish I had my originals, would love to buy new ones some day.

The X-Men sure have produced a lot of playsets! Did that one debut to promote the 2000 movie?

Kenner's Star Wars put out some neat playsets in the 1990s too.

it was hot wheels road rage series. i know it's not technically a super hero bit but i still thought it was a cool 90's playset.

Oh, I thought that was X-Men related! I had no idea Hot Wheels put together something so cool, though I have no clue what their Road Wars line was about. How does it scale with various TMNT figures?

not really sure my friend had the set years ago. but i think it might be a good fit for the half shell figures.
