There's a few people who might see those two Farley pieces, see the year on them and go WTF about their own commissions they've waited on...

I know what you mean, that whole situation is so messed up. I got onto Farley's list the day Archon_Turtle started the thread about him offering commission spots back in August 2012. I waited over 2 years and sent countless emails about my pieces, so I'm very thankful I eventually received them. It sucks that others are still waiting for theirs.

Here's a commission I set up with Dan Duncan. I LOVED the front cover artwork for the IDW Collection Volume 1 hardback, but alas it was sold before I could get my hands on it. I mentioned this to Dan and he said he'd be happy to re-draw the cover to fit in with my "black and white art with bandana colored blue" theme, it really pops! Great collection, you have a CAF gallery? I've got a lot of Leo pieces myself, he became my art focus after I got most of the main cast covered. Best turtle confirmed. At least one of mine perfectly matches yours, a Campbell piece in black/white with a colored mask (but I have a few con sketches like that too!). Good taste, yo! Welcome to the boards, & thanks for sharing.

Great collection. Nice to see another OA collector join the boards. You have a cool variety of art and I can't wait to see what you post next.

Here is an inked Raph sketch by Kevin from the Heavy Metal booth at SDCC circa 2003/2004, with Bisley adding some ink shading to the face and arms. staticflickr.com/65535/48485139627_d5b5f5b951_z.jpg/IMG Last edited by BlueBandana; 12-27-2023 at 09:14 AM. |

Heh, yeah, Katie has drawn a bunch of cool little watercolors for me at various cons, from Alien and Totoro to Batgirl and The Crow. She's super-nice to talk to, and her pop culture knowledge is off the charts!
