Okay? I like the cover, read through all that mess, and still don't understand. Is it an 'end of year' review of the comics so far? A completely different comic based on whatever the hell Kevin wants to write about? What? It SOUNDS interesting, but I'd like to hear more about what the hell it is.

48 pages, little else known. Obviously set in the IDW universe though.

I still dunno what an annual is, but original work from Eastman solely is long overdue.

An Annual is basically a longer story. Sometimes there's multiple stories. Some are set in the past, some in the present. But they're generally yearly One shots that bridge a gap between storylines.

Or... in the case of the Archie TMNT Adventures Annuals, they were pretty much the weirdest things ever!

I got the Batman annual last month, had nothing to do with The Court of Owls storyline, but still good.
Anyway can't wait for this.

The TMNT Annual will be out in October. It's FULL story by Kevin Eastman, with Tom on script (as opposed to co-story by Eastman/Waltz). Kevin on full art duties. It's a 48 page stand-alone story set in the IDW universe.
It's basically a caper gone awry, with various criminal factions in NYC vying for power, with the Turtles caught in the middle (especially Raph and Casey... c'mon it is an Eastman story!). Very psyched for it! |

If I remember they went like thirty years without an uncanny X-men annual then released one and then it said "to be continued in captain America super soldier #1" at the end. Annuals are pretty much one shots that are intended to be released yearly but rarely are. The story doesn't have to stick to anything in particular. And holy ****ing **** ****ing mother of ****ing **** is that the savate guy? Well...a savate guy since the other ones dead.
