POWER RANGERS TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #4

Spoiler:

(W) Ryan Parrott (A) Simone Di Meo (CA) Dan Mora
It's the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as you've never seen them before vs Shredder!

No, really.

Just imagine the coolest thing we could do and, yeah, we're doing it.

I can see all of them leaving Hob except for Herman and Ray. Though it's odd that he would need new enforcers if he were to retain those two at his side. Hmm...

Can’t believe the entire Image run will be rereleased by March, feels like they just started. That means all new issue 24 should come out in April. Cannot believe we’re finally getting an official canon conclusion to the Image run.

Hey, April gets a cover appearance! I wonder if she'll get her own Yellow/Purple "Turtle Zord?"

I'm really excited for TMNT comics in 2020, because of "The Last Ronin" and the conclusion to the Image run. Pretty cool stuff.

The fact I see a cure for the crowd that was mutated by Hob just after Jennika's accidental transformation shows IDW has a way out if it is decided it was not much interest or story for her as a mutant turtle. If it is successful then she could turn down the cure and choose to remain as she has become.

Never thought I would feel like it, but the comics have been firing on all cylinders while the other media has sunk to a low. I also get the mistake made up for a 90s' kid dream team gets a true team up.

We don't yet know if the cure even works. There's a thousand ways this go. I'm having PTSD-induced flashbacks to X-Men: The Last Stand...

It was done in "The Works" volumes by IDW, right? Didn't look great.

We don't know, but I do see it happening. It is a way out as there are others not just Jennika who need to reverse the process so if IDW likes the directions Jenny can say "no" to returning to her human form while others receive the retro-mutagen. If the direction is finished or is in a negative slide it can be fixed in-story.

Was it? I'd like to give it a peek.

* edit: I wish I hadn't. They really colored the worm clones different colors, even the clothes? Orange, blue, and purple? Did the colorist(s) not notice the color of them on the cover of #21?

Soooooooooo, what are the chances of there being a functioning cure?

Jennika won't be demutated obviously, but it is interesting they come up a way to reverse mutation like all the cartoons did if they need it. To be honest there's no reason a mutation has to be permanent.

We've already seen a cure/demutation of sorts, in the form of the Gang of Four. Smart money says Null's involved in this somehow.

They'll find a cure for her mutation but she will decide that she doesn't need it and instead choose to live as a mutant.
