The script IS available now! There's three of them. In auction:

"the highlight is three versions of the screenplay of the unproduced fourth film which have never been seen by the public!

The first version is dated January 1995, the last July 1997. The second version in particular has extensive handwritten notes by Kevin Eastman, and he added sketches of Splinter and one of the Turtles on the first page. The third draft has a Leonardo sketch on the first page. (See Mr. Eastman's comments on the fourth movie below)."

Indeed. I wish there was a way to just buy the scripts...but then again, I probably still couldn't afford it.

I'll keep an eye on the auction and pray it doesn't spiral into an out of control bidding war on the last day. I would LOVE to own those things so I could share them with everyone.

What I fear most is that some collector will win and these scripts will never again see the light of day as they stuff them into their personal display case.

Two years ago, Heritage had an auction for several G1 Transformers episode first drafts, production bible material, notes from Bob Budiansky for Hasbro and even several early drafts of Transformers the Movie, including the first draft.

Many of these wre handwritten, one of a kind drafts.

The Transformers community pooled their resourced together via paypal and we won every auction BUT the first draft of The Movie. After receiving the scripts, they were scanned and everything was shared online. Needless to say, the first draft of The Movie disappeared into some collector's closet and we will never know what was in it (hmph).

The scripts were then auctioned off after we were done with them and all profits donated to the Hasbro Children's Hospital, which began the Allspark Forum's annual charity drive for the Hospital (we've done it 3 years now; I was even elected to represent the Allspark at the Red Tie Gala last year at Providence where Hasbro is headquartered).

What I'm getting at is that I fear, if these things just go to some independant collector, we will NEVER know what is in them. I'm gonna keep my eye on the auction, but it's already walking the line of being way out of my price range (honestly, I shouldn't be spending that kind of money ANYWAY, but I'm racked with urgency).

That's an awesome thing you guys did. It seems like a win/win/win scenario. The auction house gets their money, the fans get to see the material, then the items earn money for a Children's Hospital. What a great idea! :applauds:

We can only hope for such an awesome outcome for this auction, too.

Heck, I've got $8.19 in my PayPal at the moment. I'm willing to pledge that amount toward a "joint project" that can guarantee some public access of these materials to the fans!

It's a start, right?

It wouldn't be a bad idea, to pool resources and try and get them to share community wide...I would just feel awful that I couldn't contribute as I have zilch in the way of disposable income....

Dimension X

I always recall reading on the TMNT website years ago that the new (then fourth) movie would see the TMNT visit Dimension X, and we would see Krang and the Technodrome.

New Kevin Eastman sketches of the fourth movie are now up at auction:

Looks like Kirby had a black, white or purple/pink bandana, and resembled Slash!

Laugh Out Loud at new characters "Talbot" and "Lawson"! Also, "What the heck?" @ Kasey Jones "electric hands" and "Evil April."

And hooray for the return of Super Shredder and the Foot!

Man, this seems to be one freaky flick, judging by the concept art....

Indeed.

Between Kirby the wacky 5th turtle ("Squish ya head, squish ya head!"), electro-magnified Casey Jones, twisted super-sexualized ninja April, and the return of the Super Shredder, I can't help but think part of this movie might have taken place in some sort of alternate dimension or something.

This pic especially makes me think dimensional-temporal displacement might be involved:

Perhaps Eastman wanted to take the concept of the Time Sceptor from the 3rd movie and go crazy with the idea for the 4th movie? Maybe the "Kirby" character would somehow embody the the powers of the Time Sceptor and wreak havok upon time and space?

I am well aware that these are only concept drawings straight out of Eastman's creatively wacky brain, but it is still fascinating.

This movie WAS going to involved a "parallel dimension". It seems that Kirby and the badguy, Spyder, would be from this dimension, and the Turtles would somehow come in contact with them.

Through the magic of photoshop, I've been able to darken the photos of the scripts and sort of read through the pages. I bet if we got a few more eyes to look at this we could guess the rest of the words. Here's what I was able to make out so far:

Script from Jan '95:

FADE IN

EXT. NEW YORK SKYLINE – TWILIGHT

The Big Apple in all its traditional glory. A card reads—

“NEW YORK CITY”

IN THE FOREGROUND, eight hundred feet high, an OFFICE -----
-----. A MAN is standing on ---- sill.

He gazes down and... steps off.

Disappears hands fly xxx, snatch him by the ankles. He is xxxxx
but from his pocket fulls – a half-eaten package of XXXXX’S

XXXXXX WITH THE FALLING XXXX XXXXXXXXXXXX down. XX XXXXXX

“XXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXX XXX xxxxxx

PULL BACK TO REAVEL--

EXT. AN IMMENSLY CROWDED TIMES SQUARE – EVENING

The #YSKAS are pets. Taxi cabs are cicxxhxxx with their XXXXXS
locked inside s--- cages. And on every corner, MIME FACED
XXXXXXS don’t bother to hide as they demand “credit numbers at gun-point.

In other words, this is an ordinary evening –
“--IN THE PARALLEL DIMENSION”

Halting in an alley

A STRANGE CLOAKED XXXXXX suited, shadowy. The Figure moves
With xxxx purpose.

Xxxx the figure slides behind the NEW YORK PUBLIC LIBRARY POWER
PLANT, using XXXXXXXX xxxxx in xxxxxxxx of hooks. We lose him.

Script from July '97:

FADE IN:

INT. SPYDER’S LAB - NIGHT

A dank, vaulted ----- laboratory filled with hi tech
equipment. Xxx dripping with slime and xxxing. In the corner
of the lab stands a glowering figure – MASTER SPYDER.

Spyder is --- and quick, bristling with a sleak, skin tight
MECHANICAL MUSCULATURE grafted to his body – an EMPSUIT.

Nearby are his TWO MAIN MINION – the “TECH XXXXXXS”
