The same has happened here. A nice breeze, cooler weather, and pumpkin everything. We don't usually receive a true fall here, so I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

Also, killed it at work today. Three people walked in, all three walked out with a gym membership and a renewed sense of purpose. TEAM SNAP FITNESS!!! "Secret Project" 99.9% complete. I feel pretty good about it. I'unno, man, it's goin' okay.

First and foremost: The weather.
Humidity is mostly gone, and the temperature is below body temperature finally. Feeling pretty productive as of late. Finished a book (Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell), have gotten the bulk of Phase One administrative stuff on my game completed, the podcast is going well, and soon there'll be some sound design to work on. Just good stuff.

What makes me happy is that I have my first piece of TMNT art on the way! Found a print of the Leo sketch from the 90 film (with free shipping!) and it is now on its way here. Going to frame it and hang it over my comic book shelves. Will look awesome in my collection! I've loved that sketch since I first saw the movie, so it's been a dream of mine to have a copy. Now I will!

What makes me happy: That I have an original idea for a story after so long of not having an idea. Am anxious to get it written so that I can see if I can get it published. Going to be a long haul, but it's something I really want to do.

One of these cats... he's so 'special,' in that special, derpy cat kind of way. Technically it was last night.
I walked into the kitchen and this one is somewhere between laying and sitting on the floor, with his back to me. I think he must have caught movement of my legs in the reflection of the oven door as he was looking toward it slightly concerned. I took one large step up just behind him and stopped, he craned his neck looking at the oven. Took him a moment to actually look behind himself - and then he freaked out. All I did was stand there!   Scrambled for a second on the floor, but was able to quickly collect himself instead of running off.Most would have looked a little embarrassed, I think this one is a bit too derpy to understand that he should have. lol |
