Here something I think Nickelodeon and DC need to work on soon
Batman/TMNT Crossover direct-to-DVD movie We have the turtles in Batman's universe in comics and in the Injustice's video game's universe; I think we need them now in an animated movie. And yes, I said direct-to-DVD movie because I am realistic. Thoughts? |

Rights for a movie animated are a lot different than a comic book crossover.
In fact I don't think DC has ever had any animated crossovers with any non-Time Warner owned shows like Scooby Doo, etc. |

Or live action in-theater film in which the TMNT get to participate... (Personally I prefer animation sticks to just tv series.)
I know some have said DC movies tend to suck, but they could in theory finally get it together for once and maybe a crossover would be a good audience draw. Though I'd still love a TMNT/Guardians of the Galaxy crossover, but wrong hero social circle; we need to make friends with that one too. |

with the way DC's live action movies have been going and how they dominate animated movies, an animated crossover is something they are missing out on. I know in interviews with different people, it's been brought up but who knows if we'll ever actually get one.

They already announced they were in talks to make one, I think it was at SDCC last year.

It's times like these where I know I've become a jaded adult. "A Batman/TMNT animated film is probably happening!!!" Meh...

I'm with you on that. I'd much rather we get the TMNT we deserve, a Mirage or IDW adaption (Hell, a continuation of the Henson universe in animated form would be a real cake taker too), as opposed to some assembly line Cowabunga Dude 'Memba This?! crossover with an overrated Big Two character. I mean, I understand that this getting made doesn't negate any other, it's not a "This Or That" situation, but it's hard to get excited over more of the same when you're still waiting for something special.

Also at this point an animated movie would likely just be an adaption of the comic crossovers with IDW and Batman, so it'd be the same thing we've already seen just in animated form.

I'm too autistic on what crossovers make sense to me in their respective universes and TMNT with DC just doesn't fit.

The animated Justice League series, which aired between November 2001 and May 2006, is good (and would maybe crossover with the 4 Kids TMNT series). So are also the animated Batman and Superman series from the mid-late 1990's and early-2000's. Even some Marvel films and series are good.
I'm more and more getting into animated series and films based on US-American superhero comics. Always liked it too, but there wasn't much to watch when I was a child (except Superfriends on Thursday afternoons). Last edited by Original TMNT Cartoon Fan; 04-30-2018 at 10:00 AM. |

I guess it depends how badly people want the TMNT and Batman to exist in the same on screen universe talking to each other. You can get away with a lot more in comic. Either way I welcome whatever they do.

Adaptions of my fights with Batman from IDW comics can happen in Rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles. We already got mirrage and IDW adaptions in 2003 and 2012 carttons so what will happen is some episodes of Rise of the teenage mutant ninja turltes will be based on my adventures with Batman and Joker at Idw comics.

I would say either direct to DVD, or a TV film.
