It's kind of ironic that the Nick Turtles are now "two generations old."

We went through Rise of the TMNT and now Mutant Mayhem, so Nick 2012 is now oddly "retro" especially for the kids who grew up with it.

"Arcade Classic"? Like was the original game even that popular?

Hopefully they learned their lesson with Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 and don't go the digital download code route first ... and then "oops, here's the real physical now."

I mean it's not surprising if they go the digital route especially at $29.99. But at least 2012 is getting some love even if the game isn't great.

I'm so excited. Game Mill don't have a good track record though- but because it's a port, with additional content, I'm hoping they won't mess it up.

Outright Games working on the Mutant Mayhem game, that's gone quiet. Another publisher with a poor track record....

Curious to see how this is received. This genre of games have come a long way. I'm not sure it's gonna be loved beyond Turtle fans.

I just now found this post on the message board. I am pretty excited to play this. I watched the 2012 series about 2 years ago and I thought it was pretty good. It's noce to see those turtles get some more love. They are way more interesting than the Mutant Mayhem turtles. Btw, Danger of the Ooze was a pretty good 2012 turtles game considering how cheap it is. I have the 3ds version and I play through it about once a year.

Yeah, that's what I think. I doubt it'll get too much coverage outside of "well, it's a modern-day arcade port. If you like Turtles, you might find enjoyment here."

Danger of the Ooze deserves more love. It's kinda short, but it is very fun. The other 2012 game is ok, but very lackluster. I got the Splinter Training pack which includes both games for like 7 bucks. That was actually my introduction to those turtles.

If anyone was waiting for the physical Switch game to show up on Amazon, looks like it's finally up.

I wish they would add a feature like different skins for the Turtles (like give us 1987 versions) but with it being a quick port with some additional stages, I don't expect much.

It really is. My daughter was 3 when she started watching it. She's almost 17 now.

Looks like it's available on the Switch eShop finally ... looks to be about $25ish dollars until the day before it's available. I still have $30 in eShop gift card money left over, so I might just go ahead and get it at that cheaper price and grab the digital.

Was waiting to see if any other major first party Nintendo games were coming out soon (or a gosh dang Pizza Tower port finally) ... but I've been in a huge TMNT game mood lately so this will do just nicely.

Looks like the game has "leaked" somewhat

Some other channels posting longplays of it as well.

Gotta say it looks really nice on PS5. I'm nervous for my switch copy to be dissapointing in that department.

Heh, that ending is so disrespectful to Shredder! Entertaining but really makes no sense. Like the game couldn't help but make April the stereotypical damsel to save but also wanted to toss in a "girl power" ending to try and have it both ways.

Sounds like Clancy Brown wasn't in the budget, so they have Fred Tatasciore playing Rahzar.
