I seriously am going to have a hard time waiting for this DTV to be released

I wonder if the merging of the turtle universes will be anything like that recent Tales comic which sort of acknowledges the co-existence of the different TMNT universes?

This past weekend, I attended a convention where Wayne Grayson and Mike Pollock were part of a Ninja Turtles panel with Tom Wayland. Someone asked Wayne if they were going to do more episodes. While he could not say for sure they would get to do another season because it was up to 4Kids, the subject of the DTV came up in the same line.

That he threw a bone out for us, but all he would say is that the Mirage, Old Cartoon and New Cartoon Turtles would be in it and interacting together.

Interesting, huh?

Intersting? Very.

Now I KNOW that I'm really going to get anxiety-attacks over when this is coming out! I wish that they'd let us know just WHEN it will, already!!!!!

Well, I'm hesitant to believe this new info isn't a misquote. It sounds too badass to be true. Even if it's true though, I sincerely doubt they'd waste screen-time with many interactions (if they hope to have a fully conclusive story involved). Think about it. It's 3 ep-lengths. That's 60 minutes plus redundant opening sequences and credits... unless they'll have a lot of unnecessary scenes like this present on the DVD, but edited out for TV.

Well, Comic Con is coming up next month and there is supposed to be a sneak preview then. We'll see from there.

I'm not giving up my source, but I've known this for a while now. The only thing I didn't know was that the Mirage Verse would be involved.

The blog is messed up right now, so 4kids probably took that photo down after someone found it. From another thread, it sounds like Leo with blue pads and a "L" on his belt. I'd love to see the picture.
