What characters are the most likely to come back to life?

As of right now quite a few characters have died in the IDW series... And at least two have come back to life. Which one of the dead characters is the most likely to come back to life?

This thread was posted February 2021, so if the poll don't reflect the current status when you're reading this, don't be too surprised.

Of the ones listed, Bishop of course for obvious reasons, although I kinda hope they don't. Both Shredder and Krang coming back to life when they "died" is quite odd for this series (at least for now since we don't know what the payoff is since they haven't really done anything with them yet), and it's weird to think the story couldn't continue without them.

Bishop, for sure.

Metalhead is also a distinct possibility and would even tie in to some of Tom Waltz's recent hints for the future of the comic. Splinter will still appear in some capacity, I expect, but he's the one most likely to remain dead. Hun and Slash probably won't appear again (alive) for the same reasons as Splinter, because it would cheapen the way they went, and in Splinter's case, if the comic lasts long enough another demise would have to be devised further down the line. I don't think any iteration of TMNT has ever killed Splinter off twice. Of course, breaking records and subverting expectations is IDW TMNT's bread and butter...

None of the others merit much mention.

What if they were to bring back Splinter due to some time traveling shenanigans?

Anyone want me to count the sewer flush as the first time this show did it?

What if it's Bishop and Huns minds in cloned Slash bodies since those were what the visers were programed to and may have a copy of their brains?

Dang... My bad! I swear, even as I was writing that, I thought "Someone more knowledgeable's gonna prove me wrong". Totally forgot about that one!

As for Slash, ever since his death I've had the headcanon that he was separated from the bomb (which did go off) by IDW Cherubae using the Turnstone, and whisked away to some far-off corner of Dimension X to serve as her champion against some unspecified menace with the clear stipulation that he'll never see his friends again. I actually think this could make for a very compelling mini, somewhat akin to Planet Hulk and expanding on the more obscure space-themed elements of TMNT lore (Bellybomb, Trap, Cudley, etc). I'll keep thinking this is what happened to him until we're somehow proven otherwise by the comic.

I was personally thinking Hun. His death left the body intact and he would probably have the ability to heal, considering he used mutagen to pump up.

Agent Bishop was originally portrayed as successfully cloning his body and transferring his consciousness for a prolonged life. Also, while he looked like he should the origin missed the mark and the opportunities to explore such as killing his father were not explored. I feel that having Bishop resurfaced in a clone form would be a successful course correction.

Metalhead is the most plausible (basically a 3.0).
