I can understand somehow that he doesn't want to work there again after they treated him that nastily. His former bosses don't seem to have a grasp of what the job 'lifeguard' is about. A shame, really.

The story made national news and they surely caught a backlash of negative publicity. So they tried to backtrack and give him his job back. I'm glad he declined. There's just no common sense anymore.

Yeah, I heard about this story. It's so horrible how people are treated nowadays. I'm actually glad he declined the offer for his job back. Why should he continue to work for someone who treated him unfairly?

This is ridiculous, she was "distracted". I've missed my bus stop once before because of being distracted but I got off at the next stop. How could anyone possibly drive over 800 miles more than they were suppose to? how could anyone not realise hang on 90 miles should only take a couple of hours, not a couple of days? Insane!
