Thinking about the ridiculousness of a Birds of Prey movie without Barbara Gordon as Oracle, it suddenly occurred to me...
This is the same studio that made a Justice League movie without a single Green Lantern. Sigh.

Looks like we lost some posts in this thread
All the posts about WB looking at black actresses for black canary were deleted or not backed up. Still think its a bad idea don't cater to the you know who group. Also Movie will be out February 2020 https://variety.com/2018/film/news/m...20-1202954950/

DC people hate our movie universe how can we get them to like us again. Lets make one of our White Characters Black that will bring them back.

At this point, I think I've lost all faith in every aspect of the DC media platform.
The movies? Rumors of Henry Cavill being let go, this weird Joker Elseworlds film, the Justice League that had no Green Lantern and fought Steppenwolf, Birds of Prey with Harley Quinn instead of Barbara Gordon... The TV shows, with their "fvck Batman" line ruining a perfectly good Robin, the continual CW soap slog of shows, and the Titans costumes (especially Starfire)... And even the comics, with Heroes in Crisis, everything about Tom King, and Dick Grayson getting amnesia... It's not a great time to be a DC fan.  EDIT: At least Aquaman and Wonder Woman 2 should both be good. I hope.
