It really boils down to missed/untapped potential that kills it for me. So much talented and experienced people are working on this show yet it's like every time they do something good with a character or story they're telling with a character, it someway, somehow, fumbles and drops the ball only for it to snowball into something less desirable. And I hate that the fact that I have to be this disappointed with something I was invested in since Day 1. It's remarkable how this show has become a love-hate relationship for me simply because of that.
And yes, this post should more belong in the Whining/Criticism thread, but I was just agreeing what Leo656 was saying and his issues with it as well. Last edited by DarkLightDragon; 12-08-2015 at 08:19 AM. |

I dunno, I like what I've seen. It's not great but I like it, not because the characters' names are spelled right, but I genuinely enjoy the execution. Now granted I haven't seen season 4 and half of 3, but I doubt there's that big of a dip in quality.
Also love hove it's 50/50 on the votes. I never knew Irma was such a polarizing figure.

I hate OT Irma. I hated the Nick Irma. I just don't care for any of the channel six news team in general.

I don't know why people are so disappointed in this show for, I know it is not perfect and that there are sometimes some annoying things. But, personally, I think that they have been doing a good job on it. It got some good fighting scenes, some good lines, Raphael cracks me up all the time, visual quality of the show had gotten better since the beginning of season 3. Though, they have not elaborated on Tiger Claw's background YET, one can't say he hasn't been entertaining. Now, we get to see bunch of aliens like the Triceratons, and the Salamandarians, not to mention time travel. I think there is more positives than negatives.

I wish I had dime every time I heard that "I don't know why people don't like what I like anymore."
1. Personal preferences and varying opinions 2. There's practically a thread that says 'Official Whining/Criticism' which people have posted time and again what their issues with the show has been for the last 2 seasons. Plus, I already made it my point as to why the show has become a love-hate relationship for me, so to have someone come and ask why I don't like just makes them look like dumbasses who don't bother catching up. And I'm not somebody who likes being redundant and have to repeat myself. |

I like much of the the Nick-verse, but there have been too much bad ideas lately for me to get beyond 'liking' back into actual 'watching.' What I'm actually waiting for now is the episodes that show the actual demise of the Foot Clan and Shredder. I'm bored of the Karai snake mutation crap, I wanted to know more about Tigerclaw but they ain't biting, and they keep adding mutants to Shredder's roster without either killing/demuting the previous ones. They could re-add/not re-add Irma, but at this point it's not going to make a difference. they wouldn't even have a place to put her, and if she turned out to have been human, they will just end up mutating her anyway. It just seems to be the way things go in this show now. Last edited by Metalwolf; 12-14-2015 at 06:20 PM. |

Pretty sure it said somewhere they were in Northampton for four months, so I think it would be pushing it at least.

It could be that the was a real Irma that was friends with April but then she was captured by the Kraang and they made suits based off of her so they could find out where the turtles live, but I do like the plot twist, its unique and different compared to other shows always having the same thing.

Yes i want irma back!!!
I STILL can't believe how it turned out! It should have been like how it was in the old 80's TMNT cartoon series when Irma was a human and another friend to the turtles like April was! They NEED to bring her back as a real person!

Says the guy who responded to it, thus insuring it would go to the top of the thread list.
Methinks the lady doth protest too much.

Sorry but it's not the 80's cartoon. The 80's show is always there if you want Irma.

This will probably be as much remembered within a couple of years as Utrom Shredder in the 2003 cartoon.

She was probably the only female character I really liked besides Karai(who is also missing). Well, at least we still have April... And Renet... Al Bundy: OH GOD! *cries* Last edited by TurtleGuy; 01-08-2016 at 06:42 PM. |

Expand.
Not saying I disagree. Partially, maybe. Mostly I'm just genuinely curious to hear your take on it. I for one am pretty, "Eh, that's a way to go" about it. I never would have done it, nor asked for it, but it didn't push me away from the show. --------------------- I don't get the Irma fetish. I mean I wanna see what Irma had going on under that baggy sweater in the FW cartoon as much as anyone, but she hardly mattered, why the constant surge to bring her back? Who next, Zack and Caitlin? They're about equally as important, don't ya think? Not every single character or thing needs a Round 2.
