[Announcement] Pre-Upgrade Notes (which no longer apply)

I brought the forums back up in order to allow our news posters to post and to allow people to comment on the news posted here. Besides the news forum (and a private forum), the rest of the forums are locked, which means that you're free to view them, but no new posts can be made. All other posts can be made at our backup forums, The Technodrome GD-Forums. One more thing to note is that registrations and profile editing are disabled for now.

When posting news comments, I ask that you follow these guidelines:

Please do not spam the news threads! This means no personal conversations and no off-topic posts.
Please do not bump up old news threads unless you have something relevant to say. I would also prefer if you did not reply at all to any news posted prior to the 10 that are displayed on the main page.

Thanks, and maybe if everyone behaves themselves, I'll consider opening a forum or two early.

Well, as I posted above, I was considering opening a forum or two early to give people something to do while we wait for the upgrade, but thanks to the recent outbursts by a certain member in the news forum, I will no longer consider that as an option.
