Yeah, it is indeed a wonderful film. It blows the crap out of the Matrix which everyone just HAD to compare it to when it was released

Films like that dont normally get good reviews because the critics are to busy comnparing it to the Matrix to realize how good it is
Underworld got slammed to. I watched the interviews on the Underworld DVD and they brought up the Matrix. They said that in the Matrix they all wear sun glasses because their blinking alot while firing the guns, very unrealstic for a gunslinger. In these movies they dont have sunglasses because their true gunslingers, they dont show a slight bit of fear and never blink. Plus the stories are different and way better I loved the story for Equilibrium it was really good. Underworld to Thats just my 2 cents |

The Matrix>This movie, which IS very, very, abysmal, sometimes critics can get it right. The Matrix sequels hav'nt exactly had favourable reviews from the same people either |

I just wish people stopped acting liek the Matrix was the first movie ever to use slow motion action scenes in it.....it wasnt and there for everything with slow-mo scenes in it shouldnt be compared to it. But everytime someone sees a slow-mo scene they normally say "OMG Matrix rip-off" Not everyone thinks like that but alot of people do.
I thought the first Matrix was pretty good for its time and such. I own it in fact. I own Reloaded to but lets not get into why.....Im not even going to touch Revolutions |

The case of this movie is a funny one. It was totally underrated and a gigantic flop when it was in theaters. After it was released on DVD the opposite happened: The movie got completely overrated. Seriously, it's not a bad movie but it's neither as good as its hype nor as good as the Matrix (the first one).

I've heard it's good and I bought it as one of a few xmas gifts for a friend since he's into action-orientated or men's films (well generally rubbish ones though). He' still not back at uni yet but I will watch it then
