Well, coverage starts today, and I've already seen quite a few Toy Fair images over at figures.com. Nothing from Playmates yet, but they were one of the first ones up last year(so hopefully the TMNT pictures will be up tonight).

Anyone want to tell me who this female Shredder is? I don't think it's Karai...........if it is they definitely changed her body from the last time we saw her;

I am so dissapointed with playmates. We have four new figures coming out, then a bunch of turtles and a candy maker. that is inexcusable. Karai looks like the third shredder clone! No new characters have been made or anythign. wtf! No Zanramon, Stockman, Renet, Bishop? Last years toyfair was so preductive, why do the hold off on this years? I dont understand.

Maybe she's from one of the alternate universes that the turtles get sent to in those time travel episodes
I stopped buying the toys myself their all dissappointing and I dont feel a urge to collect them anymore

Maybe the new figures were not ready in time for Toy Fair? If this is all we have to look forward to this year I'm only buying General Blanq, Yoshi, Feudal Japan Shredder, and Lady Shredder. It almost looks as if the rest of this year will be mostly re-released figures in new packages.

I think the Lady Shredder figure is Karai, I just think PlayMates didn't make the body look like her. Just look at the chest area..... There is no way that looks like Karai just based on that.....

Yeah I'm prety underwhelmed with Playmate's showing. This is supposed to be for major retailer so I would've thought that they would at least have some concept art or something for non turtle figures. Hopefully something will pop up in the next two days even if it's information and not images.

At least the new packaging looks cool.

I know ToyFair isn't over yet, but as a whole, so far it's REALLY lacking. Maybe we'll see some better stuff at the cons this year, but still.

They should do a Zanramon. I'll only get Karai in her Shredder costume(would have liked a regualr Karai though ) and General. I'm not really into the new line anyway and just collect the original stuff pretty much. Only buying a few I like from the new.

I just saw your toy fair selection for the coming year, and I am very dissapointed with the toy lines direction. Last year you had 30+ new characters portrayed as action figures and you released mostly all of them in good form. You had characters from upcoming episodes that had not been aired. (leatherhead, fugitoid) and you had a good mix of characters that were already in the storyline (Quarry, Foot Mystics, shredder clones) although you didnt release a few of the figures, many were released making my tmnt collection almost double in size by the ned of the year. this year I see repaints and turtle variants, with four figures, four. not one of them stays true to the television show and none of season three's big characters are represented. with the ninja turtles, they have new characters in almost every episode, playmates hasnt even finished making the major players from season one. the diversity is what kept many hooked onto the toy line. with the decreasing acelleration and increasing pointless action figures people have bought the figures simply because it was their favorite character, or that they wanted to replay memerable scenes. If you dont release any characters from season three, how will that work? You are loosing so many loyal costomers by doing this. The figures you do make are usually amazing, but seeing your presance at toy fair, i have no hope for the future of the line, because I will only be buying to four new figures, even if they are off model, but they are my favorite characters. thank you and i hope you take my advice.

I hope they change the toyline but I hope they don't just stop the merchandising. They really need to stick to characters that are in the show.

Some companies have bigger coverage on certain days or might display different things on different days. It's happened before, so you never know what else might show up before its over. But, we shall see....

If I recall correctly there was a "Battle Damaged Shredder" concept pic in the playmates archive of the Video game.

Anyways, maybe they cannot release images of characters that have not aired yet?
