Not really a toy but one of funniest TMNT related auctions ever.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...956861322&rd=1

edit: make sure to read the questions to seller they are equally as funny.

Man, I wish I had a pic of it. Its that one where the Party Wagon is featured in the center and April is stepping out or something like that. Anyways, the "inappropriate graffit" is a small swastika on a back wall...

Why do u think my auction is funny? I've held on to this extremely rare recalled puzzle unopened for 15 years. You know it's worth $5,000.

I got that puzzle on ebay like a year ago in a lot with 4 puzzles and it ended up being 8 dollars or something. I think I even had another one come in at some point.

It may have been recalled but it's not like anyone who bought it before it was recalled took it back to the company because of it, they are still out there. Besides how long was it on the market before someone even noticed it? How many parents honestly look all around a puzzle picture for swastikas? And how much TMNT merchandise was sold back then? I'd wager there's probably 5000 of them still out there. Maybe not unopened, but I'd think a lot of them are out there too.

And for 5000$ you could buy a whole vintage TMNT action figure collection MOC/MIB and loose.

By the way I'm not positive cause you can't see it in this pic, but I believe this is the puzzle in question for those wondering:

The German star thing that the Nazi's wore during WWII...

And that puzzle is NOT worth $5000...I can't think of one single item, other than maybe a full body suit prop from one of the movies, that comes even close to that amount...not comic #1, no toy, not the full size arcade/pinball machines...and DEFINATELY NOT some puzzle that was massed produced that to this day you can find all over ebay, flea markets, and garage sales...

I wanna know where that girl got her turtle heads from the 3rd movie! That would definately be worth 5K... even if it's just the heads.

kinda dumb when the swastika wasn't originally german, nazi or whatever.

Some tidbits.....

The word "swastika" comes from the Sanskrit svastika - "su" meaning "good," "asti" meaning "to be," and "ka" as a suffix. Until the Nazis used this symbol, the swastika was used by many cultures throughout the past 3,000 years to represent life, sun, power, strength, and good luck.
