That theme song was...yeah.

Still, my fanboy-sense tingled at the inclusion of Streaky the Supercat and Ace the Bat-Hound. I wonder how long until Beppo the Superchimp and Comet the Superhorse show up.

With any luck it'll be post-Crisis Comet. Ya know, the one that had the lesbian relationship with Supergirl?

I can't wait for "G'Nort the series" where G'Nort is that stockbroker addicted to green jelly with lightbulbs which turns him into Green Lantern. And he will have a head twice as big as the rest of his body, there will be merchandise galore, and... yeah, Superman will be a regular guest. Superman is going to be a card collector who gains his game-mastering super powers from inserting cards into his special cardslot, available for GameBoy (tm).

Why the heck do they keep on bastardizing our beloved characters? I mean, Birds of Prey (it was fairly good, but that weren't DC-heroes), The Batman (which actually does have pretty sweet animation and cool character designs, but that is not the Joker)...

Birds of Prey tried to be set in the future...without Batman, that's why it bombed, besides, noboduy outside of the comic fanbase ever read that comic.

"The Batman", when handled correctly, can be good, it's still garbage overall, but three episodes were stand outs ("Traction", and both parts of "The Clay Face of Tragedy")

Streaky and BatHound were great staples of the post-crisis Superman comics, and it's clear this series might take the p*ss out of the original comics with the way it's animated and written.

I don't know what to say......The show looks so weird, it leaves you surprised and wideeyed at the same time.

Ok first up:
Why is it they had the pilot ep today??? I missed it but thankfully it'll air again April 4th. And it seems it's gonna be airing at 2pm before TMNT.

This helps me cuz I generally don't like getting up at 9am to watch tv

So just so you know all the characters:
Centipede Dog
Hot Dog (the red dachshund)
Bull Dog
Streaky the Supercat
Ace the Bathound
Tail Terrier (his tail stretches)
Krypto
Squeeky (Streaky's nephew)
Brainy Barker (the purple dog...she's the leader of the Dog Star Patrol which in the comics was called Space Canine Patrol Agency)
Mammoth Mutt (a pink Chihuahuah)

Many of the eps will be dealing with Red Kryptonite... and BOY are there alot of eps like that... yeesh!

Superman and Lex Luthor are minor characters in this series.

The series is based on the old Space Canine Patrol Agency comics. In that series Krypto found a dog world and he teamed up with the canine justice league there. He discguised himself by wearing glasses....

So the official premier is April 4th at 9am. It'll be on Cartoon Network daily at 9am with a repeat at 2pm before TMNT.

Funny how 2 of my obsessions are back to back...

If the Bat-Dog has a chemistry set or a cave I'm strapping myself to a rocket and leaving the planet.
