Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Original Series (Volume 5)

Anyone know is there will be more of the original series released on DVD? I'm looking for info about whether all will be brought out on DVD or just a few? as season 3 is so big

I was abit disappointed in vol 4. Some naff episodes...

I'd love to watch the eps 'shredderville' again. one of my faves

What are naff episodes?
I'll have Vol. 4 in a few days! Vol.5 will probably be released in August

I liked the episodes in volume four there where alot of episodes that I liked in them. ie: Cowabunga Shredhead, Green with Jealously, Return of the Fly, ect.

I even liked mutagent monster, because I thought it was hilliarous

For some reason the episode with all the turtles in it didn't do it for me , I felt it was rather weak.

My peoblem with Volume 4 was all the alternate voice actors in it...it was a sad day.

Yeah, I was really hoping that Artisan would consider doing the redubbing for the episodes with alternative voice actors. The voice actors themselves said they would have no problem doing it so I'm wondering why they didn't do it.

I recently spoke with a representative at Fred Wolf Films who stated that Volume 5 was in production.

I don't see how long it could take to use stock photos to make menus and some box art. I mean jesus could the box art for volume 4 suck anymore?

I agree. Volume 4 looks kind of awful. I hope Volume 5 is better. It doesn't really matter, anyway. It's the content that counts. I just want more episodes.

The thing I hate the most is when I look at something and I say to myself...I know the person who made that got paid some good money. And I know that I could do that. I could do that better and I could be the one getting paid to do it. Why not me? Because I havn't got a degree yet. But I swear when I get one oh boy. I'll be raising the bar. I'm sick of these crappy movie posters, CD covers, and DVD box art.

I know what you mean. Kind of sad, but that's the way of the world. Gotta have something to show for yourself in order to make it out there.

I always say to never judge a book by its cover. Yea, the cover of Volume 4 was terrible but the episodes were as good as I remember them when I was a kid.

Is it just me or were some of those episodes really trippy? Like the one where Leonardo quits-- his dream at the beginning was funny, but so weird to watch...

maybe Leoanrdo went to bed high and thats why he had such an acid like dream.

I'm just hoping the series makes it all the way through and doesn't stop after season three .

I believe we should get season 4 and beyond, since volume 1 gave us 4 of season 10's 8 episodes as well as all 5 season 1 episodes. The slip of paper that comes with the DVD even says that the 4 extra episodes are from season 10!

I thought it was out already! hEH.... I just got Volume 2 last month (I am terribly behind). I almost decided to NEVER get Vol 4 because of the Mutegen Monster episode. I just want to see the Robotic Bebop and Rocksteady episode again. MAinly because I bought the video and had to return it since it was sucky quality.

RE: Season 5 DVD

I really doubt that they are going to include extra episodes with this DVD set. I bvelieve in the first set, they just did not have enough episodes to sell so they included the Season 10 episodes. I do believe however that in a later release they will complete these Season 10 episodes. I also think that they are going to eventually get all 194 episodes on DVD, but by the time that happens, it will be time for HD-DVD and Bluray DVD lol.

Yeah seriously. Still, anyone else notice that a couple of episodes on volume 4 were kind of crappy in quality? Casey Jones Outlaw Hero had some lines and such at the top of the screen sometimes. Nothing that makes them unwatchable but kind of disappointing to see vhs quality on DVD. The other volumes were much better in video quality.
