oh i've forgotten cody is on the smart list as well, but just because he built a time machine doesn't mean he is the smartest, besides, he didn't actually made a time machine, the guys transported to 2099 by accident.

It's kinda hard to answer this cos you got 2 characters who was learned by figuring out stuff himself (Don & LH) and everybody else is classroom taught.

No' he built a faulty time window based on Dons old schematics. The new one used in Tempus Fugit was most likely Don's doing with some help from Cody.

Anyway I'll say Fugitoid. He has more universal experience and access to more advanced technology.

Um Leatherhead was with Utroms who taught him lots of things. He would be just beast if it werent Utroms.

This show has too many nerd I mean scientist characters and well Donatello and Chaplin smartest. I think mutation made Donatello super genius and Chaplins things usually work unlike Stockmans who fails constantly.

I'm going with Chaplin. Not because of his many awesome inventions, or even because (unlike Stockman) he never lost any body parts to The Shredder, but because he got Karai to hook up with him.

Where was it said that it was based on Don's specs?

And while I'm aware that it was faulty, he still built something that viewed the past, and with a little tweaking became a working time machine. If it was indeed based on Don's designs, though, I'll relent.

Well, let's think about this logically...(geeks of the world unite!)

Bishop once said that LH was smarter than Stockman
LH said Don did most of the work on the outbreak virus and couldn't complete it without him.
I seem to remember Stockman sabotaging Chaplin's work without his knowledge..
So by this I'd say it goes Chapin, Stockman, LH and Don...(ascending order)

These are just random bits of fact I remember...but I'll go with the Fugitoid overall, thanks to his universal knowledge...and the fact that he can now download the whole of wikipedia in a nanosecond...and we all know that wikipedia is NEVER wrong...

Yes, but the Fugitoid never really built a working teleportal, did he? (seriously, I'm not sure...

) The Utroms had to bring them back, and LH learned all he knew through them. I'd place Prof. Honeycutt in your list between Chaplin and LH.

Leatherhead created the cure of the outbreak virus with help of stockman. Chaplin made weapons to fight the tengu shredder, stockman made mousers, and fugitoid had knowledge to built the transport device and helped a lot the turtles in season 3 many times.

Anyway, everyone except donny their life is science, donny is also spending much time on training, so perhaps he is the smartest.

Donatello inspired April to eventually create O'Neil Tech. Without this, Cody would not have built that time machine. So my vote went for Donatello out of those options. He's always saving the day with his brains.

LH commented on how he couldn't work as quickly on the outbreak virus as Donatello.
Stockmans devices almost always seem to blow up or backfire.
Fugitoid built a transmat that didn't even work.
Chaplin I think I would place in second as he seemed to take over building weapons, and from what I could tell (I haven't seen all of Exodus) the building and driving of the spaceship!
Cody lives in the future, with lots of amazing technology (courtesy of Donatello) so...
Donatello can built a flying/hovering van for goodness sake out of junk parts!

Submarines, bikes, modify helicopters...he can get the hang of even alien technology (with just a few mistakes) in almost seconds! I mean after all - in season 2 start he was only like a door out

when finding Raph, and that was an alien language he had to master!

Dr. Malignus would win if he had succeeded killing Silver Sentry and becoming ruler of the world, now he is just loser villain. Dr. Dome on the other hand has prove he has been with a living female unlike any other of the choices in the poll. Well Chaplin comes close but still we dont know what exactly happened between him and Karai.

There are other scientists too like Starlee and Mortu. Mortu is never loses his cool and is always calm when other like Fugitoid panic around him.

I'm gonna say Leatherhead. I sat Leathhead because he seems like he has alot more experience than all the other choices. Even over Donatello to an extent.

Also how come April isn't an option?
