I'm thinking its the the 2K3 TMNT meeting the old Mirage comic TMNT versions. I just hope its a good story. I'm basing on Peters comments from his blog about the old meets new and the way the TMNT have never been animated before. So thats why I think so.

Even if I could I wouldn't want to spoil it. If I were any of you I would avoid any news and just see it when you can. There is a good discussion about this on one of the recent slashfilm podcasts. When you watch a trailer more than once you sort of end up dissecting it and really the style in which trailers are cut these days you can almost piece together the entire film.

My recommendation would be to just ignore any spoilers and enjoy that first viewing when it's available.

Damnit.... It takes place in the ****in 2k3 universe, therefor it has to take place sometime. Hopefully it's a few years after season 7, or maybe a FF movie.

Whenever it's supposed to take place, I'm hoping they use the designs from the first few seasons, or something similar. At the very least, I'm really hoping the Turtles don't have pupils. That always made them look more badass.

This is exclusive news, straight from the horse's mouth so to speak. It's not a whole lot, but it's something to chew on at least.

This past weekend, I attended a convention where Wayne Grayson and Mike Pollock were part of a Ninja Turtles panel with Tom Wayland. Someone asked Wayne if they were going to do more episodes. While he could not say for sure they would get to do another season because it was up to 4Kids, the subject of the DTV came up in the same line.

That he threw a bone out for us, but all he would say is that the Mirage, Old Cartoon and New Cartoon Turtles would be in it and interacting together.

Interesting, huh?

It was pretty obvious it would be 4Kids toon meets 1987 toon, or 4Kids toon meets Mirage. Did not expect all three of them.

I know this is a small moment, but all red-masked Turtles in animation for the first time.

Also, I call Cudley or Battle Nexus. Hopefully they'll make use of one of those existing multi-dimensional things rather than make up some new whatever. I guess there's always the ol' Dimensional Portal, but the Technodrome and Donatello's were both destoryed.

And while the interaction could be painfully cheesey, I'd love to see Mirage and 4Kids Splinters' reactions to the old toon version (being Hamato Yoshi and all). Also, and it probably won't happen, old toon Shredder and Krang's reaction to Ch'rell. And Mirage Shredder's reaction to the weirdness of both of them. (Then again, he was a pile of worms at one point...)

The old toon Turtles won't be the same if they don't have their original voices.

Sadly I know there's no chance in hell they got the original VA's for the old toon Turtles back.

I hope they don't sound bad.

That's awesome. If all three crossover I'd love it if the Mirage turtles were older and have already lost Splinter so when they see him in the 2K# form or old toon form they sorta break down.

As far as VAs go there's no reason they can't use the original cast unless they decline. You really think they would? They were quite liberal with doing interviews for the DVDs and the doc Canadian Turtle is doing.
