I tried taking a screenshot of that scene, that sure looks more like Mirage Shredder than Karai... It looks all black&white to me

Oh! I hadn't even noticed that one. The character's most noticeable at 0:22, the earliest of that scene, where 2K3 Shredder still has his arms pulled in. By the fact that the face is a white blotch, that's making me wonder if 2K3 Casey came with them. I don't think he did, but that sure does look like a hockey mask, and a rather short weapon they're holding.

P.S. - That's def not 1984 Shredder or 1993/Mirage Karai.

It just aired a few weeks ago on CITV.

I think we'll have more luck waiting for the youtube/download versions. Hopefully there will be an AUS DVD release soon as well. I'm gonna order BTTS at the weekend.

Yep, as I said before, that's definitely gotta be 2k3 Karai. It's just that it's hard to make out any colors when she's so small there and when you consider that her largest articles of clothing are black and gray.
