so in that vein, I'd love to open up a new thread! one where we post portraits we've done of ourselves or OTHER PEOPLE"S Forum Avatar.

The only thing i did wanna ask is that you please remember to ASK PERMISSION before you go drawing someone else's avatar. A person's avatar is usually their own original character, and it just makes people happier to know that you NOTICE that and ASKED permission before using it!

Other than that, let's see what your interpretation of our Fellow Forum Members looks like!

As for drawing people, heh. you can ask Mouse and SkeletonCrew about this one: i tend to take on projects faster than i FINISH them... heeh... so i've always got a to-do list. but, Tetsu, since you've got a definite character with a background story that you'd posted and i can follow (and i think is a really cool idea

) if you'll be patient with me... (and i do mean REALLY patient... SC's been waiting for her birthday drawing for, um, 2 monthes now?) i'd like to take a crack at drawing you!

I hope Cqb doesn't mind too much, but it's hard to draw people without either knowing them well or at least knowing if there's a character or something that they want to be seen as.... cause really, i wouldn't know where to start with his.

but ANYWAYS... this thread isn't just supposed to be MY art... i wanna see your stuff TOO. *Looks happily at Persephohi's* she's got the right idea! if nobody's drawn you, post a SELF-portrait! (heh

this one is MOUSE. i've not seen her around for a while, but she's a gargoyle fan in ADDITION to the TMNT. so naturally, her avatar was a gargoyle (heh, her avatar's OLDER than the one i drew, but i couldn't resist) it's BABY MOUSE!!

I had Vespera's permission (and even encouragement

) to do this one. It's a portrait of VESPERA BLAZE, Vespera's character from the RPG based on her avatar. The Character was a stripper/dancer at a local NY club.... hence the, um... well... you'll see.

heh. um. just cause i gotta make this joke before some one else does, cause it's inevitable really... She's got nice cans, huh?...

ha ha ha.

this is TinselCat! she hosts alot of my art, writes incredible FanFiction and draws like nobody's business. Sadly, she also goes MIA from the drome for long stretches at a time. *sniffle.* i miss her!

and i found the GOOD one i drew of Machias Banshee! ... i had to edit it, like the Vespera picture, to make it fit the PG-13 limit... but it's all good now!

Specially the tinselcat one is very well colored.
I'd do some forum based art...maybe of azure or nturtle because turtles rock
