Yo dudes and dudettes,
I am wondering if any of you out there have/have seen/read #3 of Archie's "Year of The Turtle" Series? I REALLY wanna know what happens and I have a sickening feeling that #3 may not have been published... *whine*

I think I might have a copy in a really bad condition. Dunno where it is though (assuming I'm thinking of the right series). Did it come out around 96 or 97?

Okay, I DO know the ending!!!!

Well, Splinter and Mike Both got demutated. Splinter for a few days, Mike for a few minutes. The stone had done the demutations.

Well, in the last few pages of the last part, it turns out that it is actually Master Splinter (human form) telling the story to Michaelangelo, who's sitting in the bed.

Splinter finishes and goes out to see the others. Mike's body is mutated again to mutant form thanks to the stone, but his mind is that of a young child's and would undoubtedly take time to return to his former self. Splinter told them that he was also going back into his rat form. He showed his *incredibly sexy and well-muscled* arm, showing the rathair growing back.

That was the last comic i had ever seen until the past few weeks. It made me cry in the shop n' save...I had never been so sad over a story.

I would love to have a copy of it!

Hehehe, MONEY?! *evil glint* Well, i DID have to put myself through some emotional pain to remember it...

Oh yeah.. this was a comic Lisardo had. She let me read it one time. Yeah... and SPlinter's telling Mikey about how they defeated the Power Rangers and then go on this trip to Mongolia and surf in the snow. Very unusal plot indeed!

I have the Blind-Sight Series, and then the first early ones that were based off the cartoon. Then somoneone got me a special run that had Stan Sakai do most of the art.

oohhh a run where Stan Sakai did most of the work?? Tell me more about!! Please!! I want to read!

I loved the blindsight series, it just soooo well written and is really emotional. That Mikey jumps into the water and saves that guy is just so... Mikey! And Raph saying something along the lines of "let him drown" then in the aftermath with the reporters saying "say something, Mickey!" and he turns, and in a very mikeyish style, smiles big and says "Cowabunga"... *sai* it's a series I never tire of reading Nyar Mikey!

Man, I seriously, seriously need to get my hands on more Archies. The only ones I have are early ones, from just after they branched off from the cartoon, in collected books. Oh, and issue #50.

*happily reads her Archies and awaits her Motherlode in the mail*

I love Blindsight. THe first time i read it, I bought the one with mike's pic on the front.

For some strange reason, Im thinking that there were an issue or two that had mike reminiscing about stuff that had happened in their childhood. Something about a Broken vase and the color diferentiation, and The boys working together to cheat on some tests, but Splinter finds out and sets it up to look like Mike had flunked all the others on the spelling test, and the y all eventually get caught.

Does anyone else remember, or am i losing some more of my sanity?

broken vase? I don't remember that part, but yeah, blintsight had the reminising of Mikey on when they were younger and how the differnt colored masks came about... I love that one! Such good lines, like "If we're a singing group, I'm the cute one" "but which of us is the walrus?" (refranceing beatles 4 those who don't know) and wittle raphie running away on all 4s from the bad guy is BEYOND adorable! wierd thing is it's mike reminicing, but master splinter is telling some postlog of the story during it. That issue also has a pinup wit the little archie tmnt

Come to think of it, that wasn't in blindsight, it was right BEFORE it. I still don't know what FULLY happened and how mike got caught, I'm missing part 2 of the terricide series tho.. DANG IT! want more slash!!(the turtle, you dirty minded little forumees!)

~Mica (ahhh memories)
